“I have eaten here several times, most recently this week. I love their fresh chips, excellent sauce and tacos, enchiladas and more. Their hard shells are store made and I assume the soft shells are also. I haven't ordered anything I did not love and the portions are more than plenty.“
“Well, in columbus, GA you won't find a busier Mexican restaurant. I guess that could be due to the amazing food they prepare in here. It doesn't matter what you order, everything they make is amazing! And the drinks!!! Margaritas are amazing!“
“I decided to give this place a second try since this is a local favorite. My first experience was good but didn’t feel the price point was good enough for what you were getting and my elotes was super soggy which was disappointing. This time I tried the birria tacos. I’ve never had birria before as I usually order street tacos but man, I’m glad I did. The meat was very flavorful and there was a lot of cheese holding everything together. I honestly could go back now and eat some more! It’s $12 for 3. I really like that it comes with the dipping sauce and the onions on top give an added flavor and crunch to them. Of course, they have the condiment bar. I chose the guacamole, spicy red sauce, and lime to pair with my birria. It was all so good! I tried the agua Fresca but it was a little too sweet for me. All good though. I’m glad I gave them a second chance! I’ll definitely go back for more birria ?“
“The service is second to none of the other Mexican Restaurants in Columbus. We eat there at least once a week, and the owner always comes by to make sure everything is perfect. If I could give them ten stars, I would! Awesome people, awesome food. You definitely won’t be disappointed eating at Don Chucho’s.“
“I tried the fajitas on this visit. The rice and beans were great. The fajitas were also tasteful, just slightly too much onion and pepper for my liking. They give chips and salsa while you wait to order. If you are looking for Tex mex food, I recommend this place!“
“We came in at lunch time.It wasn't busy at all. The watristess was friendly. We ordered the birra tacos. The refried beans and rice were separate. The tacos were larger than I thought they would be. They had a great flavor. The refried beans didn't have the melted cheese on top but were good. I wish this meal was a combo with the rice and beans but overall. We had a great time and the food was delicious.“
“Delicious food fantastic sweet nice employees beautiful decor can't find a better deal they are very reasonably priced clean establishment clean bathrooms they even have mouth wash in them fantastic experience all around you don't know what you are missing!“
“La Nacional Mexican Buffet in Columbus GA is a delightful dining experience! Although the buffet style has transitioned to cafeteria service due to Covid, the quality of food remains exceptional. The Chile relleno received high praise from my husband, while I personally enjoyed the flavorful fajita tacos. Despite the change in serving method, the cleanliness of the restaurant and reasonable prices make it a worthwhile visit. We'll definitely be returning for more delicious meals!“
“I go here frequently. It’s my favorite restaurant in town. The food is always great. I usually get Tex Mex Al pastor tacos (I add grilled veggies and onions and a cup of red salsa for that extra flavor) or I get the same deal but nacho fries instead of tacos. There have been a few mess ups, but it’s always fixed and with how delicious it is I just can’t help but come back. Shoot, even the mess ups taste good. I wish I could hire you guys as my personal chefs.“
“We're lifelong Texans visiting Columbus for a second time and decided to try Monterrey Tex Mex despite our usual reluctance to try any Mexican restaurants out of state. This place is legit. We had a great meal and were very happy with the food, service, and prices. If Monterrey Tex Mex was located in Houston, I would absolutely add it to the rotation of my favorite Tex-Mex joints.“
“Had a wonderful dinner experience here last night. We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather with their outdoor seating. They have a large menu with great prices. There was a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The margarita I had was delicious and well made. I believe our server was Armando and he was super helpful, courteous and quick! The food came out very fast and was delicious. I highly recommend!!!“
“Our waitress Monica was knowledgeable about the menu to the point where I trusted her so much, that I let her order for me. Good Recomendation Ever, the bartender made 2 of the best drinks. The Strawberry Margarita was delicious! The Strawberry Habanero Margarita is ?Disclaimer, Habanero-infused alcohol is Very hot! However, it does not mean it wasn't a well-made drink ?If you like Hot drinks and can take the spice, The Strawberry Habanero Margarita is for you?. Will be coming back on Fridays & Saturdays for the festivities.“
“A very cool, low key family owned Mexican joint. Richard the owner is very kind and makes the best drinks. The food is always well seasoned and hits the spot. They also offer very good cocktails! The restaurant is well kept and clean. They are very accommodating and will suggest something if you’re looking for a different dish or are new to Mexican cuisine. I personally feel like they have the best refried beans in town.“
“I was getting tired of my normal Mexican place, so I decided to try out La Huerta, and I am so happy that I did. The place is really cute, the service was good, and the food excellent. I got the #32 (I don't remember the name) but it came with a big piece of steak, and shrimp, and it was a very good portion of food. This is my new favorite Mexican dish in Columbus. Also, they have really delicious Horchata. I was honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed it as I haven't found good Horchata in Columbus. I look forward to coming here again, and I will recommend it to everyone.Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options“
“My wife brought lunch home from this place today , my first time tasting their food . I had ElPastor and carne asada tacos and we shared a shrimp cocktail , all were outstanding . Authentic , home made and delicious . The absolute best pastor I have ever eaten . I can't wait to go back again .“
“The BEST FREAKING chicken fajitas I've ever eaten in my life!I love Mexican cuisine. We are from Western Kentucky and there is a Mexican restaurant around every corner it seems. We came here to see my bonus-son graduate from AIT training (Army). This place was close to where we were staying and had great reviews... so we decided to try it.The salsa, cheese dip, and nachos are the perfect combo. The salsa wasn't too spicy and the chips had that perfect crunch. The guacamole was perfect with the right amount of seasoning. Their frozen margaritas are very tasty but have a little kick to them (maybe too much triple sec). My husband ordered a steak & shrimp and it was to die for! This establishment has mastered the art of AUTHENTIC MEXICAN CUISINE ?“
“Always a winner!! I normally order the chicken soup to take back home...I order chicken soup from alot of Mexican restaurants but this by far is my favorite...others have tooo many tomatoes there's have none which is perfect...I know a personal preference but it really is the best soup.“
“Chabelita snacks are definitely the best of the best. When I set foot inside it, I felt very appreciable until I came out! Quite huge menu and many options to choose from. Many thanks to Chabelitas for the professionalism! I would recommend it to any friend, the best of Columbus, “
