Been eating here for 30 years now and for 30 years has been my favorite place to eat. The owner stops and talks to everyone and is a very nice gentleman. We have eaten in like places in Boston, Miami, Seattle and San Diego and many places in between.The Shogun in Columbus is one place we always look forward to eating at. The food was of the highest quality, elagantly prepared and served. I personnally checked their health records. It was 100 (the highest). The place was empty on our side- but there were many cars in the parking lot. Had the Chicken Teriyaki- was dry but the soup and salad were very good. Had fun with chop sticks and service was ok ....so maybe it was just an off night. The manager was having a very stern conversation with servers that did make me a little uncomfortable.
