I'm in town visiting and wanted to try a local spot. The food was good. I got a chicken plate with dark meat. With that I received a drumstick and a small thigh. The pieces were a bit in the small side, but they were crispy and flavorful. They didn't have Mac n cheese, but they had \\\"pasta and cheese\\\". All the sides were good, even the collard greens. I would recommend this place.

I've eaten here twice, once for lunch, once for dinner. If you're looking for a comfort food type home-cooked meal, this is your place. The menu changes daily but it mostly consists of "southern foods"

Food tasted freshly cooked. Lots of flavor. Had lunch from there on Wednesday and the grilled porkchop, squash casserole, and mashed potatoes were amazing. All members of my parry were very pleased with their food. Will be going back again.
