I used to work here many Moons Ago and even though I moved away to be closer to family I still miss working there. Everyone was like family. But it's St. Patrick's Day and I was thinking about Edwin's Corned Beef and Cabbage. The Man Really Knows how to make it Right!
The Whistle Post food is amazing. Mom really puts alot of love into the food. I had buffalo shrimp with fries, a salad, & pizza with shrimp, olives, onions, & green peppers on it. All the food was wonderful. Great food & great service.

We were on our way down I-20 and stopped at Whistle Post for dinner. There was a real friendly atmosphere. The live band did some solid southern rock covers, a little country, and even some Motown! The Reuben, Philly Cheesesteak, and catfish fillets were tasty and they have good ol'e PBR on draft. It was a great stop!!
