I'm usually pretty skeptical when it comes to gas station biscuits. They can be hit or miss. Usually more miss than hit. We go fishing in Louisiana regularly. My buddy raves about the home made sausage biscuits this gas station near the boat launch serves. So I go in one morning and look around. They're out of biscuits. Prices? Super. Service? Excellent!! Food? Outstanding!!! Right here, you will find wonderful, friendly folks cooking up some unbelievably tasty southern foods for breakfast and lunch. We tried the haystack (hash browns, onions, and pulled pork) and the brisket quesadilla (smoked brisket, peppers, onions and cheese). Wow on both counts. You're cheating yourself if you don't check it out.

We were surprised and amazed at the same time that we could be enjoying the best BBQ, brisket, and ribs that we have had in a long time. Who would have thought that excellent food could be found in a gas station??? The prices are very reasonable. The owner kept us laughing with his enthusiasm about his commitment to quality and his optimism shows in his food. You won't be disappointed!
