Cumming's best places for Mexican cuisine are in our list.
“Service was great! The appetizer trio was delicious. You can tell the chips are homemade. The steak quesadilla was very good! Only constructive criticism I can give is that the fat wasn't rendered well on the pork belly and it was chewy, but I could tell the flavor/seasoning was good.“
“What a great place for authentic Mexican. The best dishes over pizza and hamburgers as well as wings. I love this place and very friendly people and they take it to another level of samples..I give this restaurant a five star. My business will be given. Live music and a fun atmosphere. Thank you all for a great experience. You got me. JoeyParking: Always a place to parkKid-friendliness: Very customer service oriented.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessibility.“
“We are trying Frida's for the first time. The food was good, but extremely full of fat. The waiter was caught pointing and laughing at my wife as her hair is falling out due to her Chemo. That withstanding, I would say it was an overall good experience. 8/10 would come back.“
“Love the burritos here! Great vibe and food quality with healthy options. Chipotle style but so so much better! We have eaten here only once. We would love to give you more business and another star, but the past 4 times(not exaggerating) we have come you are closed. Closed at 3 on Saturdays then closed on Sunday and Mondays and closed between 3-5 other days does not seem like a big deal to most but it apparently does to us. Too hard to remember! Sure hope we catch you open one of these days when it works for us too.“
“I absolutely love the service and delicious food at this place. The staff, particularly the ladies serving, always greet with a smile and are incredibly accommodating. I enjoy the peaceful and secure atmosphere, making it a perfect place to dine and enjoy quality time with my family.I love the service and delicious food at this place. The girls who serve always have a smile and the best disposition. I enjoy a calm and safe environment, which makes it the perfect place to eat and enjoy with the family.“
“Great food. I'd say one of the best, if not the best Mexican for food and variety in the area. Prices vary, but the premium dishes aren't cheap. That said I think it's value all around. Go for the food!Vegetarian options: One of the better vegetarian dishes out there. Can't remember the name, but it's under vegetarian options. I often get it as a sharable appetizer.“
“So good!! It looked a bit crowded and there was a line, but these folks work efficiently and the line moved along in no time. It's like a Subway setup: choose what you want, choose your protein, veggies, toppings, etc. At the end, pay and put your stuff on a tray and find a seat. I had the quesadillas, super yummy. They also have bowls, tacos, nachos, all of the normal stuff. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. Good salsa too. So next door is their frozen margarita bar area, they have TONS of different options for margs. Also have mixed drinks and beer. Great experience!!“
“Love this family owned restaurant. I stop at least once a month to pick up take-out for family dinner. My new favorite thing to do is sit at the bar and enjoy a margarita & chips before I get my take-out because the vibe is so warm & friendly. Also my favorite restaurant salsa!“
“Been going here for years now. They have some of the best tacos and tamales I’ve ever tried at a restaurant. The prices are also not bad especially for the quality of food. The restaurant is in a rather old gas station, but the best food is always in places like that.Dietary restrictions: All tortillas are made with corn and flour“
“YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE! I’m serious. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in Forsyth County. And considering I’m ranked in the Top 5% of all Mexican Restaurant reviewers worldwide on Google - that statement carries a lot of weight ?Went here today for the first time ever on a whim because I happened to be in the area shopping. Do NOT judge this place by the look of it outside NOR by the dated shopping center it’s located in (Lakeland Plaza - same shopping center as Publix just at the opposite end of Publix). The inside of this Mexican restaurant is very nice, family friendly, clean, and has great aesthetics! The menu is Seafood forward but there are many other options if Seafood is not your thing. BUT if you love Seafood and Mexican food like I do, you will think you died and went to Heaven! Never thought combining Seafood and Mexican food would ever be this good but the kitchen here is making everything from scratch with only super fresh ingredients. You will agree after you take your first bite - I promise! We ordered the Lunch Grouper tacos ? - the Grouper was crazy fresh! We also had the Collared Greens egg roll appetizer - they’re slap your Momma good! ? ? Also their black beans are the best I’ve ever had (outside of Little Havana ?? in Miami, FL).Final note: skip Los Rios and drive a few doors down and try Marisqueria El Escandalo. The Cons:Name of the restaurant is difficult to pronounce for gringos like myself.Location is not easy to find.“
“One of the best Mexican restaurants I had the pleasure of eating. when I. in the area again I will go here. When you find something good you don't change it! It was so good that we dive right in. sorry I forgot ? to take good pictures ?“
“Laredos is our go to place to eat out since the Covid days. Prices are reasonable (compared to others), place is clean, and food is very tasty. Our child loves their rice, and the adults love the cold margaritasKid-friendliness: One year they had Elf-on-shelf which was popular with the kids.“
“First time I was in this place, due to a family reunion. I was surprised by the speed of the service. and the quality of food. I had the opportunity to speak with the manager in charge, it was also a pleasant experience. Honestly, the waitress who served us was not the best of experiences, a little apathetic, very professional, but with little empathy. but we enjoyed a good time. I highly recommend this place.“
“My wife and I ate here, and both dishes were superb. She had the fried avocado tacos, while I had the tamale Supreme. It was the best tamale meal I have ever eaten. The creamy sauce was decadent, pairing perfectly with the authentic and fresh tamales. My wife was dipping her tacos in the sauce repeatedly, still leaving enough for me. You can even ask for extra sauce. Combined with great drinks and friendly wait staff, this place will be on our short list. Plenty of seating, too.“
“Don’t let the fact that it’s located inside of a gas station fool you. This is some of THE BEST and most authentic Mexican food in ALL of Forsyth County! Try their soup of the day, it will knock your socks off. Everything is hand made fresh to every single order.“
“Very good food. Nice portions. Very friendly staff. Good prices. Malina was our waitress and she is one of the nicest people we have encountered in Gainesville, GA area. I travel around the country for work and eat at a lot of restaurants and will recommend this place! I had the lunch steak fajitas with black beans and rice and it was very good“
“Amazing guac!! Light chips and great dips and verde enchiladas. The shrimp burrito was good but the mahi was dry and I only had 2 pieces of shrimpParking: Free shopping center parking lotWheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking not in front of restaurant but there is a ramp before the entrance. Restaurant is wide and the wheelchair fit at the end of the table fine“
“Ordered a salad, and I guess we're cutting back on lettuce. Portions have decreased, which is fine, but when ordering a salad, the base is really important. Otherwise, food was good, and their new salsa, creamy green salsa was fabulous! The chips had a bit of a lime taste. My husband didn't notice, so maybe it was just me. The last thing is that the bathroom was gross. It was around 7 pm, so it may be after a dinner rush. My husband enjoyed his very burrito and was pleased with his meal.“
“Delicious food and great service. I asked when we arrived if we had time to eat there or order to-go because we only had 20 minutes. We were immediately shown to our table and given great and fast service. I ordered, ate, and paid in 18 min. Thank you!“
“One of the best and most authentic Mexican Restaurants in the area! Always love their food, extremely reasonable, and a family favorite. Food is incredible and delicious, and portion sizings are very large. Staff and service is always friendly and quick. In the numerous times we have been there, it has been the same great quality experience. Definitely recommend!!“
“We went for lunch and was greeted by Mireya Martinez, the service manager. She was so nice and friendly! Our server was Max. He was the best!!! He was kind, polite, attentive, and was smiling all the time! What a wonderful experience! Thank you so much for such a wonderful meal and experience!“
