Slope's is a beloved bbq tradition in GA for a very good reason. Great food and nice folks. Sadly, the building has been sold and they close their doors on 9/25/21. They will be missed.

This is a local favorite I could tell from the consistent customers coming in. You order from the counter, get your own drink and seat yourself. A bit fast food style but efficient and a savings for everyone I’d guess. The prices are very fair with a sandwich, side and drink for about $9.00 if I recall. The food here is excellent! We've been in search of delicious barbecue since moving up to Georgia, and this is it! The staff was friendly and we got our food rather quickly. The two of us ordered the vegetable plate, and a chopped pork sandwich combo, with two drinks and the total was only $23! The jalapeño cheddar grits are phenomenal. We were stuffed by the time we left. I can't wait to go back and try the blackberry cobbler!
