I was here with my husband. It was Saturday 5:30. Chef Alex from Ukraine made an excellent omelette, hashbrowns, grits was a little dry but overall excellent. The waitress Anna is super sweet, it was very nice to talk to her, and the cook is also very nice. We drove 45 minutes to this waffle house on the recommendation of our friends, I left there in a great mood.
Waffle House on my radar for few months. Finally made it today - Saturday morning at Cummings.Place was crowded on a cloudy Saturday Morning, shows popularity of the place. You take a seat and some one takes your order. I ordered a classic Waffle and coffee.Coffee was not hot as you would expect. I felt it can be more hot. It's Waffle House; it's an experience .Going for lunch during the day is much different than at 2am at night. The service and food is still great, but the atmosphere/clientele is always a roll of the dice late at night.
