Edit: just had another excellent visit to Gumbo's, everything was delicious and service was excellent.Atmosphere was decorative and fun, service was fast despite being busy, employees were efficient and helpful, and most importantly the food was great! Our server was Marianthe, she was great. My husband has been coming here since he was a kid, and this was my first time. It made for a great date night, and we can't wait to come back!
Gumbeaux’s is simply great. If you can go, go. They open at 11 and are pretty full for lunch by 11:20. You may have to wait.The food is authentically Cajun, and SPICY. Too much spice for me really. If you like spicy food, you’ll love this place.The food portions are ridiculous. I ordered the bowl of Jambalaya the first time I went. I ate and ate and didn’t make a dent. I also had it for dinner after taking it home. Maybe two people are supposed to share? I don’t know....read full review

Wish I could give more stars! We stopped by on our way home to Alabama and we were blown away. The bourbon crawfish dip is to die for, po boy was delicious and the olive salad on the muffuletta is insanely good. Our server was very nice and knew her stuff! We can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Georgia :)
