If you're doing take-out, Call your order in. If you are saving pennies, use cash. Favorite BBQ restaurant for past 30 years. Steaks, fries, burgers, ribs, soups, everything is exceptional and I highly recommend it.
Hudson’s Hickory House is a staple in Douglasville. Very complete menu. Lots of neat things to eat.Being a BBQ place, I tried the ribs with potato salad and a jalapeño cornbread muffin. The ribs are very tough, and it’s really the only reason I can’t go with 5 stars. They have a great taste, and I like the sauces they have, but the ribs aren’t tender.The potato salad was fantastic. All I can say is you smell the deliciousness of the smokiness of the wood smoked food. However, it doesn't transfer over to the food itself. When you eat the food it does not taste like it has been smoked on the grill or cooked with wood on the grill. It just doesn't. That part is missing. I don't know exactly how but I go home and grill myself with some wood.
