“Delicious dumplings tucked away in this Duluth shopping center. Ordered steamed, soup and fried dumplings. Really enjoyed them all but the soup dumplings were more vinegar than I liked. Restaurant is small with limited seating. Server was friendly. Ordered orange chicken with white rice - came out with fried rice. Ordered beef noodles with no cabbage - came out with cabbage. Not a big deal but errors that should not have happened as we were the only customers in there. The orange chicken was fine but the noodles were really good. I’d defiantly go back for the dumplings and noodles. Their health score is an”82” ? hopefully they get that corrected. Overall a good experience.“
“I was looking for a good Chinese hot pot place and wanted to give this place a try. We had an yin&yang family pot with lamb, prime rib eye, and tofu combo. It was fantastic! They had a good quality meat and the tofu combo was pretty nice. Broth for the hot pot was very delicious- not too heavy or salty.Food was decently priced.Definitely will come back!!!“
“We didn’t plan to eat here to begin with, it just happened. We chose it because we saw a lot of people eating inside and we didn’t know what to expect. The service was phenomenal and the food was amazing. Chinese restaurants are usually difficult for my family and I to eat at because we don’t know what to get, hit or miss for us. Tonight was a big hit.“
“Update!!We’ve tried so many things. If you look at the suspect low reviews they only have 1-2 reviews from local competitors?. If you look at the pro ie honest reviewers you get the locals thoughts.I also tried the beef noodle soup it’s delicious!! But be noted that the beef pieces do have the tendon chewy pieces in addition to delicious beef cuts. It’s not for everybody, but if you want authentic then it hits the spot. They started having the sweet rice w red bean and goji and juju berries on top. I don’t know the name but it’s one of my new faves. You can eat it room temp but I ask them to heat/microwave it for me so it’s even softer. Cheers!Old post:Love it here. If you went to a night market and expected good food at a great value then this is the closest. They have excellent dumpling ingredients ie I love the soup dumplings(31), bao zi?(33) and the pork and shrimp dumpling soups. I could eat here every day but our family frequents it whenever we are in Duluth.Cheers. “A fusion Asian restaurant with a mix of Korean and Chinese cuisine. The interior was nicely decorated and the servers were friendly. The pig's feet were good, the nurungji stew was good, and the atmosphere was nice. However, the food was a bit sweet for me. All in all, it was worth eating. It's just that authentic food tastes better to my taste.“
“This is a reminder to myself: Get the beef and mushroom dish & mixed vegetable dish again as they are phenomenal!Pass on the lo mein unless you have chili crisp in the car or buy some at the supermarket. It needs a little extra something.“
“Michelin recommended for a reason. We had the lamb cumin superwide hand pulled noodles and the cold skin Tofu. Both were layered with vegetables, spices, and outstanding flavor. It was a fun experience finding this spot in a supermarket and eating from trays but that just made it better.“
“It is made so traditionally, the food does not taste American made. This food exceeded my expectations and the cahier had a big smile, she didn’t react in any negative way when I was indescisive or when I told her to cancel an order because I wanted to select something else! The shop is also close to other traditional Asian cuisines, it feels like you’re in a different country when you go inside the farmers market it’s located in! Go try the food out and thank me later!!“
“We were not sure we wanted to stay at this restaurant that didn’t serve traditional Chinese food. After speaking with them, we selected the items for our bowls and were amazed at our meals. I loved the privacy screen. We will be back soon. Just special.Dietary restrictions: You can select your meats and vegetables as we did.“
“I was little hesitant to try this place at first as the recent reviews were not good, but my family and I had a great experience. Great service and the food we ordered were amazing. We tried jjajang myun, gochu gan jjajang myun, chop ssal tang soo yuk, and jjamjjamyun and they were all great.“
“So you're sitting there right now reading this review, and you're thinking to yourself, "Which would I rather pursue right now: great sex, or the most delicious spicy hot pot in the history of humankind?" The answer is clear: go for the Humble House Spicy Hot Pot. Unlike every other Chinese restaurant ever, Humble House actually puts an authentic level of "Ma La"* spices in this sexy beast. Try not to get arrested making too many loud moaning sounds while savoring it (trust me -- I'm still out on bail). Suggestions: 1. Fold over a paper napkin on the table and then wet it with about a teaspoon of water. Place your Hot Pot on top of this so it doesn't slide and spin with every bite you take. 2. Get a spoon so you can every now and then scoop up some of those delicious bits of onion and potato coated with hot chili oil at the bottom of the Hot Pot. 3. Don't add a thing to this dish! Try a little of everything just as the chef gives it to you and you'll see that the chef knows exactly what he's doing and you don't have to add anything. 4. TIP THEM! Go up after you finish this treasure, thank them for a delicious meal, and drop a couple bucks into the tip jar. The decisions they make to elevate quality are not cheap. Quality ingredients and a truly competent chef are what set Humble House above all the rest, and they cost money. We all help subsidize these expensive decisions with tips. Anyway, I guess that's enough kvelling for now. Bon Appétit! * "Ma La" is the Szechuan classic flavor profile known in English as "Hot and Numbing."“
“I have been craving dry pot recently and there's not many places that I know of that sells it and also is open late at night. You have to pick a minimum of 5 things to go into the dry pot, and we chose seaweed (delicious), rice cakes, tofu, fish, and eggplant. Honestly everything was very good, and for the price there was so much food we had leftovers to take home. We also got a lamb and beef kabob, and I thought the lamb kabob was pretty tender and had a lot of seasoning. There wasn't much chargrilled flavor just a lot of seasoning but still fine nonetheless. If I were to come back I would still go for the drypot and maybe another one of their dishes. As a nice surprise they gave us a gift card for next time to use!“
“I was surprised because it really tasted like the Jajangmyeon you get in the basement of a Korean department store. No matter how hard you look for it in the U.S., you won't find the taste of Jjajangmyeon, but it really tastes just like the one you had in Korea. My homesickness has subsided a bit. thank “
“We had The Most delightful waitress! What a joy and blessing she was!We were especially hungry having delayed lunch because of dental appointments. The children were split as to where to eat, but our appointments ran so long that our other choice was negated. So, when we arrived, we had a grumpy person. This waitress sparkled. She went out of her way to answer all our questions, cheer the children, make each person feel special, and quickly bring delicious food. The spicy seafood tomato soup was Outstanding! Absolutely perfect on a blustery Spring day. Light, warm and spicy.. aromatic with basil and tomato soup. Mmm! The Bento boxes were beautiful! Large, lacquered black and red boxes brimming with ginger salad, a spring roll, rice, and the entry. Fantastic. The mango shrimp sushi wafted mango and spicy sauce through the room as she set it jauntily in front of us. Oh! What an aroma! Each dish was as described and tasted SO good! Our wonderful waitress even went next door to Mochinut to get bobas for our grumps!Wow! Everything was wonderful and better than anticipated! Thank you for turning the day around and cheering the group after such a long day of sitting. If I could give the waitress more stars, I would.Everything was outstanding, and she was Stellar.Thank you.Dietary restrictions: The waitress was very considerate of allergies and dietary concerns.Kid-friendliness: Amazingly friendly wait staff and hostess. We felt very welcomed.“
“Honestly I really enjoy my experience at Jusgo in general, but I love this cafe nestled into the food court right across from Tokyo Kuma. The sweet lady working the counter is always so kind and helpful in deciding what to get! I've gotten the Coconut milk cafe latte and the Black Sesame latte before. The coconut latte was good with a heavy coconut flavor, but even with 50% sugar it was too much for me. The black sesame latte was just amazing-- I got it with 25% sugar, and it was perfect! It has this nutty flavor which really complements the coffee's flavor. My friend also got a Black sesame milkshake which was very good too! I recommend visiting this place, but if you like drinks that are less sweet definitely get 25% sugar! Have fun!“
“Taiwanese review on Taiwanese foodGood taiwanese street food is pretty hard to find in the US, and this one is pretty decent. The Taiwanese meatball and oyster pancakes are pretty legit, good flavor and texture,. I also got the squid thick noodle soup (I ordered rice vermicelli but got noodles instead, oh well). The soup is not thick enough to my liking, so the noodles didn’t catch enough soup on them to be flavorful, and because of that, I think rice vermicelli would be better in this dish. The squid fish cakes are a little bit fish though. Overall I think it’s a great place to get quality Taiwanese street food that you can’t normally find else where.“
“Of course it’s not as good as the shaokao in mainland China. But let’s be honest, I can hardly find one in the United States to beat this location, and I’m sure they are the best in the Atlanta area.Want to try something? 拌花菜 is good and spicy, 自然肥瘦 is good while still hot, 烤鱼扣,烤豆皮,both quite good. The only thing I would go against for is the 秋刀鱼, not quite fresh imo.Btw, you always want to call to reserve a table before you go, unless you enjoy waiting at the front desk. Average waiting time is 30+ minutes if you don’t call before you go.“
“For $13.95, the Fried Chicken Over Noodle is a good delicacy for your dollar. Goes pretty far here and the overall service regarding the handling, the ambiance (despite the noisy setting in a supermarket), and the food is a good mix if you get washed out by the crispness and saltiness of the sliced chicken easily like me. The soup serves as a complement to the chicken as salty and fried foods warrant the need to drink, which the soup, along with the contents such as noodles, bok choy, and the eggs and onion slices make it an ideal meal for a lunch combo. There was a lot for lunch, and the service members even offered to help with wrapping up and boxing the soup/chicken remains to take home. For that price, I would say your dollar goes pretty far here!“
“I have been coming to China Cafe for lunch for over two years now, and the only time I have been disappointed was when I ordered from their Thai selections. If you stick to the Chinese-style dishes, you will NEVER be disappointed. The owner is a great guy, very friendly.Vegetarian options: Tofu, vegetable onlyParking: Shopping center has plenty of available parking around lunch time.“
“It is a quality and quantity that cannot be tasted in Korea.I enjoyed it so muchI am willing to come back again and againI think the quantity for the price is the bestIt's been a while since I've had food this good while traveling.Especially dongpo pork is so delicious.best!!“
“I went with a friend about 45 min before closing time on a Friday, and we were treated very kindly. The server was patient while my non-Korean friend decided what to order. Also, I asked her for a lot of extra pickled radish, and she really did bring us a lot! So many places give you maybe 6 pieces at a time, but she brought out almost 30!!! Loved it, ate it all. And finally, the FOOD WAS GREAT. Both my half-and-half noodle dish and my friend’s udon dish were DELICIOUS. We ate every last strand of noodle. The broth and sauce were very savory and tasty. I look forward to coming here again! Thank you Chef Wong!“
“Chefs House: Peking Duck is a hidden gem that transcends the ordinary Chinese dining experience. The extensive Asian delicacies on the menu left me pleasantly happy with choices, reflecting the restaurant's commitment to offering a diverse and exciting menu. Our adventure started with the Jelly Fish Salad, a testament to the chef's finesse. The jellyfish, delicately seasoned with sesame oil, harmonized with the vibrant flavors of peppers, peanuts, and cilantro, delivering a clean and refreshing taste. The soup offerings elevated our meal; the Hot and Sour Soup showcased a perfect balance of flavors, while the Egg Drop Soup surprised with a subtle hint of ginger, adding a delightful twist to this classic dish. The portions were generously sized for sharing, emphasizing the restaurant's focus on communal dining. The star of the show, the Peking Duck, was a masterpiece. Not a trace of gaminess lingered in the succulent meat. The theatrical tableside carving added flair to the dining experience, and the accompanying wraps, veggies, and hoisin sauce complemented the duck perfectly. The presentation was impeccable, capturing the essence of both artistry and culinary expertise. The feast continued with a Fried Tofu Stir Fry in XOXO sauce, a delectable blend of textures and flavors that showcased the kitchen's mastery in creating memorable vegetarian options. The Salt and Pepper Calamari, a delightful contrast of crispy exterior and tender calamari, was so good! The abundance of food may seem overwhelming, but each dish was a testament to the chef's commitment to quality and creativity. “Now called Chef’s House – Peking Duck, a re-branding of Kung Fu Kitchen with same owner. I think the change happened July/ August of 2019. The décor is still the martial arts theme. We went there for lunch to celebrate someone’s recovery from illness so they went all out. We ordered their Peking Duck, Lobster, Fish and a few other vegetable dishes. All were good. The Peking duck was very good! The skin is thin and crispy while the meat is tender and juicy. After carving the duck, they used the rest of the duck to make a delectable soup from it! I’ve been in Atlanta for 11 years and this is the first time I had Peking duck here. Granted, I also didn’t go out seeking it either. I didn’t frequent Kung Fu Kitchen much so I don’t know what business was like. The business was brisk during my visit but another table also ordered Peking Duck.“
“Great food. Best Asian cuisine I had in a long time. Sushi was very tasty.Vegetarian options: They have many vegan and vegetarian optionsParking: Pull right up to the front and park for free. Plenty of spaceWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair and handicap accessible parking“
“Amazing! Also my first time here, and not only was the teriyaki chicken fried rice delicious but the guy at the front desk, was so kind and made sure my order came out quick! FRESHLY MADE TO ORDER, my favorite. Found my new local Chinese food spot “
“Amazing, tasty, homemade buns, dumplings, and appetizers reminds me of foods I had as a kid. This place is quite busy and sells out of many favorites early, like pork and cabbage buns. Zhang's BBQ Chicken is a misleading name, but it's a definite Must Try!“
“In new here for lunch. Three if us ordered 5 dishes, all pretty good. Authentic diverse sorts of Chinese dishes, very reasonable price and quick service. The eatery is in a super market, noisy and homely environ. But if you care more about the food than place, try it!“
“The pork fried dumpling is super crispy, chewy on the inside, and there is a lot of juicy filling. The best part was the ends; it was a perfect golden brown. We could tell that the dumplings were made with care, and for only about a dollar a dumpling, it is very worth it. It is one of the best handmade dumplings in the area. Would order again and again.“
“This is a small little food stall inside the Great Wall Chinese supermarket. They have a bunch of popular, traditional Chinese breakfast foods like youtiao (fried dough), scallion pancake, tofu pudding, hot soy milk, etc. I wanted to order everything on the menu but had to restrain myself cause we didn't want to be in a food coma for the rest of the day lol. So I got sweet hot soy milk along with youtiao, savory tofu pudding, and beef pancake. My bf got pork congee from another food stall. The youtiao wasn't as fluffy as I hoped but still good, especially after soaking in the soy milk. Ah reminds me of my childhood. *happy tears* The tofu pudding aka Dou Fu Nao was my favorite! It's still wasn't the same as the ones I had growing up in China but the flavor came very close. I wish they threw in some pickled veggies lol. My bf loved the congee but it's such a pain to order from the other food stall. Meanly because the lady at the register had such a thick canto accent that my poor mandarin level had a hard time understanding what she was saying. And she got impatient when I asked to repeat stuff lol. Typical service you'd expect from a food stall I guess. But if you want some authentic Chinese food definitely check this place out! They also have photos of every dish they server so it'll help you see what every dish is like before you order.“
“My best friend brought me here to try some of her authentic Northern Chinese dishes… and WOW..Absolutely, incredibly delicious! Not only was the food fresh and flavorful, but the service was top notch! They were so warm and welcoming here! I’m already looking forward to coming back to try more food. ?——Here are my favorite dishes so far!Pan friend lamb ribs with cuminCandied sweet potatoBeef with leek dumplingsChinese Chives“
“One hour lunch break & I ordered something quick & lite, spring rolls & egg drop soup. More than enough to keep me full for the rest of the shift. The atmosphere is quite & hospitable. Great for a quick bite during lunch or the usual business lunch meeting. Awesome place.“
