“This is a good place to have a quiet late lunch/early dinner. The server and the chef were really nice. And getting your food won’t take long. The taste is very good. Especially the fried calamari, and its sauce.Since I am allergic to cucumber, I asked if I could exchange the cucumber for cream cheese or something else, but they wanted to charge extra for the other topping.Would go back to try the fried rice.“
“My wife and I had an excellent dinner here last night! We loved the different sushi specials and ordered the caterpillar and rainbow rolls. We both ordered a Japanese beer - namely the Sapporo and Orion. Delicious. The noodle dishes were also phenomenal. Looking forward to going back again in the future!“
“First time at Saka-E.I ordered 3 special rolls (Trust Me, Caterpillar, Rainbow) and some Sashimi. There was nothing wrong with Sashimi. They were fresh and cleanly cut, and the presentation was well executed. However, the rolls were quite lacking, and this was a big deal for me since I’m more of a rolls guy than a Sashimi guy.1. Rolls were small and had stingy amounts of ingredients on the inside, resulting in the majority of its composition being made up of rice.2. Rolls were pretty much flavorless and no amount of soy sauce could fix it. Probably the result of the rolls having so much rice and very little of the other ingredients.3. Caterpillar roll didn’t come topped with eel sauce and they included tiny bits of eel on the inside. On the contrary, they included huge chunks of cream cheese so that’s literally all i could taste; yuck!If in the future I am looking for sashimi, then maybe, just maybe, I would return. However, I don’t see myself going back to Saka-E for their bland rolls.PS - Their salad dressing and miso soup were on point and delicious.“
“First time omakase and we landed in heaven. Every bite was perfection. Come early if you want to savor every bite! We only had an hour but still managed to enjoy it all; would have preferred about 1.5 hours or 2 really. The price tag is well worth it.“
“A Japanese couple operates the restaurant. Have very limited capacity and your order might take a while to cook, but it's always great experience!Because there is limited seating and the chef does not have unlimited energy, you should call before you enter the store to make reservations. If you are new to the restaurant, I strongly recommend you to order their bento box special (A, B, C).“
“Early March 2024, winter bluefin sashimi assortment was beautiful and delicious. Chawan Mushi...nice, Agadashi Tofu...great, dinner for 2 selections were all good. (even the Ika, ha ha ha) Consistency... The kids and I enjoyed going to Haru during their school years... On the one evening 3 of us were together, we chose Haru Ichiban. (Which was also funny as one of my daughters was flying back home to Japan the next morning) :) Our table was reserved...nice (7pm) We got to reacquaint with a favorite server. Glad we chose to revisit an old favorite after many years away.“
“5 star!! Despite the high-priced menus, it is worth every penny. Two of us ordered 2-person sushi and sashimi deluxe. We got plenty of side dishes including fried shrimp, grilled salmon and many other things to enjoy. Servers are super nice. You get a quiet separate room for the meal course. You will not be disappointed.“
“To start.. good soup! Sides are good as well. Only four stars because of the amount of meat in the soup. We’re lucky to have so many options in our area and there are other places just as good and more meat in the soups. New spot so busy at lunch, but plenty of seating at other times. I would recommend to try for yourselves.“
“Got take out from this location. Cashier was very patient and explained what some popular choices were when asked since it was the first time. Chose the chicken plate with 5 tenders, a side of Ponko rice and Sweet fries.Food was delicious! Even after 15 minutes in the take out box, there was still a light crunch from the chicken andfries which I did not expect. The main highlights were definitely the sweet fries (sweet potato) and the buttermilk sauce! The sweet fries has amazing seasoning and crunch which left me wanting more. The buttermilk ranch was included which I didn't know about, but I'm so glad they added it! Many places say they offer buttermilk ranch; they don't. I can guarantee you this one actually does. It went amazing with the tenders and fries.I didn't really care for the rice as it felt like it lacked something. HOWEVER, it did come with a garnish of ponko pickles. Those were amazing! They're like half sours but are more on the cucumber side which I prefer. I would have gotten that over the rice anytime.I do plan on going back to try out their wings as I'm not the biggest fan of tenders in general. The place is in an unfortunate spot that makes it kinda hidden or seem like there wasn't much traction. Maybe it was just the time I choose. Either way, I hope they can relocate or get their location out there more.“
“Do you ever find yourself wondering what you're in the mood to eat? It's hot pot. It's always hot pot. Go get some spicy broth and a huge plate of veggies and cook your meat in the soup. Nice and spicy, great prices, so much food ?“
“My rating definitely has more so to do with the staff and service. They were good people and made the experience there enjoyable. My husband loved his sashimi. We didn't try the hibachi but based on the volume of people that were there on Saturday night, we might need to try that.“
