“Thanh Thanh has officially back up for business y'all. After speaking to the owner, we found out they took the whole family back to the motherland that's why they were closed for so long. my family was sadden when we thought they shut down for good. The day we went back, we ordered a whole fish and the Vietnamese bbq. Mind you it was only my sister and I and we were eating like there was no tomorrow. All the herbs and vegetables was so fresh and their Che was so so good. Please be mindful that this is a family owned restaurant and they're super short staffed so don't get on their back about the service. They do put grass on the ticket due to our own people are very cheap when it comes to tipping. If you want to try more of an authentic Vietnamese food, this place is the place for you. Until next time!!! Peace“
“I ordered 2 beef phos from here tonight. I usually dine in here but my partner was sick so I got it to go to help make him feel better. There was a small issue with the order but I called back, a little frustrated (and I shouldn’t have) but the gentleman that assisted me in the restaurant was quick to help (I hope he gets a raise or something). I am very gracious he was so patient. Let me tell you though, the pho was phenomenal and so flavorful. It cheered my partner right up. Thank y’all and I will be back soon!“
“I am a huge fan of supporting Downtown Atlanta's local businesses. Double kudos for those that have vegan & vegetarian options for people who do not eat meat. The Purple Yam Egg Rolls were super delicious! They were fresh, crisp and fulfilling. I could tell that quality ingredients were used.Amazing, catered atmosphere, as well.I am adding this to the list of my favorite restaurants.----I managed to capture a picture of the last, standing egg roll. Will update with better pics, next meal, next time.100/100Definitely recommend.“
“Its a newer also smaller restaurant. Their 3 main dishes are great. Bun bo hue would take 1 of the highest rankings in atl. We tend to be very picky eaters. We would give them 9.5/10 for bun bo hue. 8.5/10 for egg noodles, 9/10 for chicken pho. Taste great!“
“I've been living in Cabbagetown for two years and just tried this place a week ago. I have been eating pho since I was a kid. I feel like an idiot for not trying this place sooner. I am sitting here, the second time in a week, to get my new pho fix. You need to try this place.“
“Everything about the Collective is amazing. The food, the people, the neighborhood, etc. We've never had a bad meal here, and with vendors periodically rotating the options change once or twice a year. The newest resident is Tony's. Authentic Italian beef & Chicago style dogs. Get the beef with hot peppers, and dipped in au jus, you will not be disappointed!“
“This is a new spot downtown. It seems like there are two restaurant establishments in this one space (so convenient imo), Thai Downtown and another Vietnamese restaurant. Just outside along the street you can find parking. Across the street is the Municipal Market. The inside of the restaurant has a bunch of tables that are very well decorated. I ordered their Drunken Noodle with shrimp, extra spicy. It took a minute to get the food but it was good. The noodles were wide and soft, not over cooked. They gave me about 7 pieces of shrimp, standard size. However, the dish lacked basil and veggies - they were there (just green and red peppers) but microscopic except for the onions. There were a TON of onions. I usually like a lot of flavor from the vegetables and herbs and I can't imagine what it would have been like if I didn't add the shrimp and extra spicy flavor. Would I go back? Yeah, but I would avoid the people at the counter since they weren't so friendly and order at the computer instead.“
“The fried rice, and pho we ordered were lenggg ? the staff member was very nice and welcoming too. And in case if there’s any Vietnamese people that can’t speak English, the staff members are able to speak Vietnamese to customers. Brilliant service. Good restaurant location to get Vietnamese food to take out!!“
“We found this place after picking up my sister from the airport early Sunday morning. The pho was DELICIOUS! It was hot and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I’m so sad it’s not closer to my home so I can go more often! Definitely check this place out if you can :)“
“Needs consistency to shrimp bon bo hue broth! It’s sooo good.. sometimes! Some days it will be a lighter color broth and spicy, that’s when it’s perfect! Other days like today, it is darker and not spicy. What the heck!? I’m a very frequent customer and I get the same thing every time. I just would like some consistency to my meal, it should be good and similar every time :)“
“My brother hosted our monthly family Dinner here at VN PHO. This was our first time trying non america food and it was an experience. The only downside is the menu is kinda confusing and some of the staff don't understand English. I ordered the egg noodle dish when it came it had peanuts everywhere. Peanuts were not listed on the menu at all.“
“This location is convenient for GSU students. There's plenty of outlets and sitting space inside, so it's a good place to set up with a laptop while you study and eat. The food is standard, solid Vietnamese fare, and I like that they offer a self-serve toppings bar for the pho. The main downside is the portion size to price ratio. It's around $9 for banh mi, and some entrees run closer to $20 without the portion size to reflect it.“
“I love this place!! AMAZING service, and great food!! I came to eat on a Wednesday night, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that they have live poetry on Wednesdays, from 8-12! Its the ideal place for a date night/ night out with friends.“
“My second time having pho since living here and I must say this place was the best of the two. The spicy beef broth has a lot of flavor.. The meat was very tender. It was even better after adding everything. Didn’t give 5 stars because I wanted spring rolls but they didn’t have the peanut sauce.. Will definitely be returning.“
“I loved everything about this place. Though it was cold outside. We sat on the patio. The heat lamps didn't disappoint. Neither did the food. The brussel sprouts were amazing, and I adored the ribs, lobster rangoons with the sauce, shrimp tempura, and fried beef dumplings. The service was perfect, accommodating without being intrusive. I recommend this place for a date night, or even solo for the laidback atmosphere.“
“I came here to try Pho for the first time. I was ordering to go. I was greeted at the door by a really nice lady that told me to go inside. Then there was a man that gave me a menu. They were nice I guess but they kept coming up and asking was I ready. This was literally my first time ordering so.. just give me a minute. They only have one size for to go orders which I didn’t like because again, this was my first time ordering this. How do I know I’ll like it?? Luckily, I did like it. It was really good and I think I made a good choice! The guy at the to go counter charged me for an extra Hoisin sauce knowing that it already came with one which I didn’t know. I feel like that was getting over on me and I just didn’t appreciate that. Overall, the food was really good but I can’t say I’ll return to this location.“
