“Got Buffalo hot. Wings were good size and great quality chicken. Wish the wings were a little crispier. Also the sauce was just poured out of a plastic franks (or similar) jug. I'd love to see this man take it to the next level with his own home made sauces. Would be unstoppable.“
“We pick up our orders, but it appears clean. We are always greeted and served quickly even during busy times. Burgers are really good and cooked as ordered. Tons of fries, that's the only thing I wish were crisper. But no complaints. Nice employees as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes it's wheelchair friendly!“
“First time trying and I enjoyed it. Had the rib plate that comes with two sides, I chose the coleslaw and Mac n cheese, garlic bread and a couple of pickle slices with onion. The Mac was not your traditional type. Instead of cheddary it was Parmesan with a hint of what I believe was dill. It was good but different so just consider that. The coleslaw was didn't have a lot of flavor. Wasn't gross or anything but I just assume eat KFC slaw. The ribs were really good. Juicy and tender. They put sauce on the side, so I was a little mixed on my feeling about that but the ribs were so good they really dont need any sauce. Probably works better for the other meats. The negatives were that parking is not very accessible. But all of downtown Gainesville is like that, so not much can be done. If you're lucky you can get a spot in front on the side of the street. They could use two improvements though. A couple of more side item additions and a two or three meat combo platter. I believe this is the only BBQ place I've been to that doesn't. They could add one and easily charge up for the single meats were not crazy priced. I will eat there again if in the area. The place is also bigger on the inside than it looks from outside.“
“A wonderful place to get a homemade burger. They have the best slaw also. The place is always spotless too. He even wipes off the mustard and ketchup bottles after each customer is through using it. Bathroom is spotless as well!! My grandkids absolutely LOVE this place. They always request to eat here!! (They're young, ages 5 to 15)“
“Have been here several times. Very good food although I would not recommend the fried mushrooms. Out of everything I have tried on their menu, that is the only thing I did not like. Their milkshakes are excellent and be strong when you order their spicy flavored hot wings because they will light you up.“
“Amazing burgers fresh ingredients and a great selection of side dishes. The best places to explore are the friendly mom and pop restaurants in town. Friendly and prompt service. Homemade root beer is a wonderful treat. A must stop when driving down Browns bridge. Near lake Lanier!“
“Good stuff!!This location was here when I was in high school in the 90’s and already felt like a classic back then! I was in the area and thought I’d stop by for a burger again. The slaw burger - big and flavorful, onion rings - plump and juicy, and a butterscotch shake that was enormous, sweet, creamy and cooling made for a delicious and very filling lunch! There’s a reason this place has been around as long as it has and you should definitely check it out yourself if you’re in the area.“
“This restaurant should be made into a historical landmark of Gainesville. It is incredibly popular, and for good reason; an unparalleled atmosphere with friendly workers and a classic American interior design, beautifully made burgers and perfectly seasoned fries, and the milkshakes - quite literally - are to die for. If you are visiting Gainesville, or if you’re a local who (somehow) has not passed by yet, I strongly recommend paying Collegiate Grill a visit - you will not be disappointed.“
“Culver's is our family's go to place for a fast burger. The meat is fresh, burgers are made to order, and worth the wait! Crinkle fries are always crisp and onion rings are tasty too.Vegetarian options: Salad is can be ordered with no chicken. There are sides such as coleslaw and steamed broccoli.Kid-friendliness: Kids meal is a great value. Good size portions.Wheelchair accessibility: Outdoor eating weather permitting. Side door is wheelchair accessible. Tables for dinning inside or out.“
“The food was great! Definitely enjoyed the cachapa con queso. I ordered the simple burger, 2 empanadas and tequenos. All very delicious! The people were very nice, friendly and inviting. The eating area was small but still great considering the location.“
“A coworker said they had been to Double D's and got one of the best burgers ever, so he took me there. I didn't expect to be a meat and veggie place. Everything looked so good, but since the burger recommendation, I went with the burger and rings. The burger was really good! Noticed as we were eating, others were coming in for burgers as well. A real throwback to great simple food!“
“Was made to feel welcome and apart of the group from the moment I walked in, all the bartenders are super cool and there’s a pool table only a few feet from where you wet your whistle. Highly recommend the wings and the French dip sandwich it’s always bangin!“
“Absolutely amazing! I love coming here and it’s so close to where I work! I definitely recommend trying this place out and the staff is super sweet! They’re quick and very welcoming in the restaurant! Definitely worth checking out! Also this guacamole burger was absolutely amazing and so tasty!“
“This is an under appreciated place that I’ve just stumbled upon. I’ve had my eyes on this place for the longest time but never got around into doing in until now. The prices are fair and a lot cheaper than fast food places these days.As soon as I saw that three point something rating, I knew this was gonna be a legit place. The cashier was not super friendly but that’s okay because the food made up for it! My food was made fresh and was hot when we received it. I don’t know why someone said it was soggy in another review.A splendid idea here is that a kid can get wings as part of a kids meal. When I try a place, I like to taste their lemon pepper wings first before making a judgement. Let me just tell you, I was licking that sauce off the parchment paper. That’s all that needs to be said. It was that good but I would have enjoyed them a little more wet. I’m sure that’s something that can be modified if you just ask. I got a to go order for my sibling with hot wings and those were adequately wet. Simply perfect! Also, another wonderful thing they have going on is they they have the fry salt at your table so you can put your hearts desire on them<3!“
“Absolutely as good as it looks! If you have a hankerin' for the creamy deliciousness of homemade handmade ice cream this is the end of the rainbow...except they don't have cake ?. Or caramel sauce. The staff are polite and aimin' to please when serving up.generations portions of goodness. Next visit I'll be sure to take home a few (or several) of their hand-dipped ice cream bars.“
“From Blairsville, had been by Yonah Burger many times but had not eaten there in several years. Stopped by today on a whim to grab lunch. Burger was good, kind of expensive, but so is about every place else. What really struck me, though, is the friendly greeting, they take your NAME for your order, not a number!..asked everybody ordering how their day was going and how they were, and when everybody leaves, told everybody thank you and have a great rest of your day..that is SOOO rare these days...usually a short, insincere greeting and rarely a thank you nowadays at most places..this place is a breath of fresh air! Will be back..BTW, I remember Yonah Burger as a kid back in the '70's..and I know it has survived at least one fire, and has been grazed by a tornado during those many years..I hope it continues for many more!“
“We were really pleased to have indoor seating since we were traveling from out of town. Food was good, though my burger had onions even though it was ordered without and the receipt showed that. My husband's eggnog shake was good, but my vanilla shake was only mediocre. Counter person seemed more interested in visiting with the cooks than anything else, but did take our order promptly when we walked in. Not bad, just not stellar.“
“Great burgers and wings. The fried pickles were the best we’ve ever had. Reasonably priced as well.I would definitely recommend others give this place a try.The only negative was the annoying music videos playing so loudly it was impossible to ignore.“
“A nice atmosphere that wasn't busy. The manager was a little sweet lady who went above and beyond with making sure my order was correct and that the food was great. She checked on me a few times and we had a pleasant conversation. I definitely will be going back.Kid-friendliness: The atmosphere was pleasant enough to bring your children and sit in to have a meal.“
“Got a $25 GC for Xmas. Bought a dbl bacon cheeseburger and a small fry w/small drink. $27 and change. Bidenomics aside that's freaking rediculous! Great food and service but too much $ for a simple burger & fries. Shareholders must be laughing!“
“I went as part of a group of Friday night with a reservation. Our table was waiting for us. The parking lot was small. Maybe there was more parking that I did not see. Lots of choices for food. My fish was good. Key Lime pie was disappointing. I liked the place and would go again.“
