“Our second time here and it didn’t disappoint! We met our friend who recommended this place and had a great experience. We shared the ahi taco appetizer, which was excellent! I had the M16 roll that did not disappoint! The rest of our group had Pad zee ew and it was spot on in flavor. We ate at the bar and Adam the bartender was busy but never made you feel like he was too busy to take care of you. We will be back!”

“Went to dine in last Wednesday and had the pleasure of having Ashley wait on me. Service was quick and professional. She got the order right on the first go. Kept drinks refreshed and didn't have to flag her down for anything, she was right on top of it. If you visit this store ask for Ashley!!!”

“Small and cozy local spot with the best food in the area. The owners and chefs obviously care about their food with the best combo of flavors and ratios of meat/cheese/veggies/bread/fat content. Where most eateries just fry all their foods and don’t care about flavor - this place is the opposite. As a vegetarian, there were plenty of veggie options, the owner stating they’ve taken chicken stock out of many items to make them veggie friendly. Their menu is not large but covers so many areas. GET THE BISCUITS. I love biscuits and these were perfect, with a crisp top without being too oily. Also, prices are very reasonable. Looking forward to coming back!Vegetarian options: Have a sub with lots of veggies that isn’t just loaded with cheese. Most soups are vegetarian. Breakfast options.”

“The fried chicken was delicious!! The skin was so crispy and crunchy! The biscuits are light and fluffy, absolutely scrumptious! The fries could have been a little crispier for my taste but they were good. Sitting outside enjoying the beautiful Spring weather was great! Our server, Terri was terrific! She was very attentive and very knowledgeable about the area! We also met Mully, the owner. Everyone was so friendly, with great atmosphere and fantastic food!”

“I specifically went to Helen, GA on a weekend while I was in Blairsville because Heidi Haus is only open on weekends. I was so disappointed when Heidi did not open at noon! I don't know what time they did open, but they were open as I was driving out of town, so I parked the car and got the combination platter to go. I am so glad I did! Heidi Haus was worth the drive, even for a Polish girl who was looking for good pierogis and kielbasa on Easter weekend. I'll be savoring the meal all weekend! The stuffed cabbage could use more seasoning, other than that, everything is delicious. (While waiting for the food, I learned that the server had called off. They opened late because the server who came in had to drive from Blairsville.)”

“We loved it. We got the grilled cheese & Maverick fried chicken sandwich. It came out hot & fresh. I am hard to please when it comes to coleslaw, but theirs is so tasty. I got the hush puppies and they were delicious as well. Our server was attentive & kept our water glasses full!”

“Always enjoy eating here! The burgers are the best in town! The Maui wowie burger is my all time go to! Onion rings always crisp and fresh! Also highly recommend the pepper poppers! They are cheddar cheese stuffed and coke with an amazing spicy kick in sauce.”

“The head chef was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I came and she is a vegetarian. Chef basically offered to make whatever she liked, and made her a delicious primavera, and my pistachio covered mahi was incredible. great experience that the chef elevated.”

“The food was ok for me. I had the schnitzel, but the sauce wasn't as good as I've had at other places, so it was a little disappointing. It was kind of a butter sauce, maybe?Potato salad was excellent, service was good, and the atmosphere outside on the patio was nice. The restaurant was closed for private party on the inside, but we had a guy playing the guitarand singing outside. Great spot for a beverage on the water!”
