Wow, This barbecue was awesome.. I read the reviews I went I'm sold. To. I live in Norcross boss and I was looking for some really good barbecue . I came across this restaurant just doing a Google search.. I've lived in Texas for 20 years I was looking for good barbecue . . The brisket was delicious the ribs were delicious just like I like them And those potato skins were good too. Now the Collard Greens need some work. Don't get me wrong they were clean but they need some ham hock and some black pepper and It needed to be smothered down a little bit more. But back to the brisket it was delicious the ribs were good . I will come back again for more. Oh I have a customer suggestion try to get a location in Norcross it's a shame you're only at that 1 spot it's too good.
We were thinking about good BBQ for dinner but wanted something other than what is available and I noticed this place passing through town the other day.The service was great Safya(?) was very attentive. The draft selection left me questioning so she brought a small sampling flight answer my question. The potato skins are excellent, don't miss them. My wife had the burger which she said was really great ,I tried the pulled pork plate with collared greens and the best baked beans I have ever eaten. Great place for Q can't wait to try the ribs ,we will be back .
The food taste and smell really good ?
The food is delicious at Foggy Bottom. Seasoned just right. The ribs are to die for. Succulent and cooked to perfection. Had the potato salad for the first time. In a word..yummy. The best thing at this restaurant is the staff. Always helpful, mannerly and pleasant.
Never in my life have I had brisket this dry but the sides and customer service was good
I was recommended this place and I was honestly disappointed. The food was okay. The sides are not slap your mama good. The mac and cheese was bland and the chicken was dry. The service is a little slow, but it was busy when we went. I will give this another try, it may just be the day I went and what I ordered.
The food is good but apparently there is a nationwide shortage of barbecue. So they discontinued the Wednesday night specials they had, reduced their meal portions and up-charged all meals. I've not heard of a pork shortage and am wondering if this a business decision to cash in. Oh and Stacy, based on your response, we will most definitely follow your helpful advice.
Foggy Bottom BBQ is a beautiful venue in the heart of Lawrenceville and serves some of the best BBQ in town. I was very pleased with the food and the service and will definitely be coming back for more. Their pulled pork sandwiches were incredible, and combined with a side of baked beans as well as some red beans and rice, your mouth will be salivating for another round.
We love going to this local BBQ restaurant. Right in downtown Lawrenceville so a quick walk to anything else you want to do downtown. It feels like a local spot when you walk it so it always seems that you are going to run into someone you know. The kids like going here as well because they like the food which helps out with family night.
I'd say it's between Foggyy Bottom and Loyal Q for which is the best BBQ I've ever had. They are both great but I go to Foggy more because it's closer.
The food is delicious. They were super busy for Father's day weekend and ran out of pork, tenders, ribs and brisket while we were there. This is not typical for them. They are usually on point and have great food and service. I would recommend them for sure.
Great place for dinner or lunch! No bbq sauce required on the brisket but the sauce is great. Don't forget the banana pudding! Come enjoy it. ?
Delicious BBQ with a twist!!! I didn't expect to see a BBQ sandwich with pimento cheese but it was amazing!!!! The brisket was some of the best I've had!!! It was super tender and flavorful!!!! Also the decor and location were awesome. It sits in the heart of downtown Lawrenceville with great outdoor seating!!! A must try!!!!
The food was just okay and it took 45 minutes to get us our food even though we showed up before the lunch rush. I am not going back.UPDATE:So they need to rename their restaurant. It shouldn't be called foggy bottom bbq, they should rename it explosive bottom bbq. That is what just happened to my bottom after eating there. So unless you are looking for awful service and the runs later, I would look at eating somewhere else.
We've been here a handful of times and it has always been excellent. Great food and a great value. Definitely recommend Foggy Bottom BBQ.
