I was going to order a seaweed salad. They close at 10 pm according to their google page and they refused to let me buy it even though it is 9pm. I said I would be there in 15 minutes but she said the manager said no and when I asked to speak to her she said the manager left. Disappointed. I used to work in food service, if you say you close at a certain time then make sure you close at that time and not before. I told them I was diabetic and they were the only place that said open. I wanted to let the manager know to change the times if they were going to close early.

We have been going to Kirin House for years and have always been happy with it, but tonight we had a completely different and very negative experience. The food was fair, but the big problem was that the Hibachi chef made it very clear that he would rather be anywhere than here. He never spoke, he never smiled, he never did anything to make it a fun experience for anyone at the table, and they knew we were celebrating a birthday at the table. They did end up bringing a store brand cup of vanilla ice cream, but that pales in comparison to the birthday treatment we used to get here. Because we were a party of six, and 18% gratuity was automatically added to our $300 check. For decent service, we would have been happy to tip more than that, but for the service we received, we definitely would have tipped less if given the choice. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that he had left the building. I think we have our answer. We just won't be back.

I had the chicken and shrimp hibachi. It was good. The waitress was prompt and brought my food out swiftly. The restaurant was quiet when I was there. I ate my food before I remembered to take a picture of any of it...it was good.

We've been going here for years and have always been happy with it but tonight we went to celebrate my son's birthday and had a completely different and very negative experience. The food was fair, but the big problem was that the Hibachi chef at the table made it clear with his attitude that he would rather be anywhere than here. He never smiled, he never spoke, he never did anything to make it a fun experience for anyone at the table, and we were celebrating a birthday in the family. They did play a generic birthday song and brought a cup of store brand vanilla ice cream, but that pales in comparison to the birthday treatment we used to get here. Because we were a party of six, an 18% gratuity was automatically added to your 300 dollar tab. We would have tipped more than 18% for decent service, but based on what we received tonight we definitely would have tipped less. Perhaps this explains the apathetic service. When we asked to speak to a manager, we were told that he had left the building. They said they would take our phone number and call us, but they never did. I think we have our answer. We just won't be back.

My hubby and I ordered carry out hibachi chicken, veggies, soup, salad and "fried rice".... UGH WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! The portion size was significantly smaller than if we would've dined in. They still charge same price but give less food. Chicken was burnt and so were the hibachi veggies. Fried rice was really soggy rice lacking flavor with too much salt, definitely NOT fried rice :( so sad as this place used to be so good. Interior is dark and people unfriendly. Spend your money elsewhere!!!

Restaurant was very cold. Had to wear my coat throughout dinner, and the rice and veggies that were placed on my plate became cold before the meat/seafood was placed at the end.

We were here for my nieces birthday! Ricardo was our chef and he was so cool! Best time ever! He was very professional and knew when to come in and to back out from a conversation. If we had something going on he did his thing and let us talk, and when we were intrigued he put on a show. I love customer service professionals who can do that flawlessly. There was no awkward moment and he made our birthday girl feel so special! Absolutely recommend him! OWNERS PLEASE GIVE RICARDO A RAISE. WE WILL NOT DINE WITH ANYONE ELSE :)
