My husband Tommy and I dined, for the first time, at MOMO Japanese Restaurant last evening. It was his turn to choose our #datenight spot, and he'd been eyeing ? this place for some time. We got in right away, and were seated in a booth near the front.We were the only patrons at the time. In fact, we were the only dine-in customers the entire visit, but there were a few people who showed up for take out. The place is clean, small and quaint with a really cute, cultural flare ???? We ordered Hibachi-style combo dinners, with soup, salad, fried rice, & meat choice (s). It was steak and teriyaki chicken for him. I selected shrimp & teriyaki chicken. The meals weren't cooked before our eyes, but they were served up quickly. I don't think our wait was more than 20 minutes for the main course, and we had the soup & salad immediately after ordering. Neither of us favored the soup broth. It tasted "fishy" though we were told it was chicken broth. The salad with ginger dressing was fresh, crisp and yummy. Tommy didn't like the texture of his rice at all...too soft; not like the stir-fry firmness he prefers. He also believed the meat was overly sauced...sweet and thick...not a good match with his filet mignon. He commented, "This place is a one and done for me"! I was okay with my food. The meat was covered in thick, sweet sauce, but I could tolerate it. The veggies helped to balance things out, in my opinion, and I ate everything together. Sure, it was not like one of our favorite Hibachi go-to's [Kampai], but it wasn't bottom tier either. I'd rate it 3 out of 5 for taste. Tommy ended up going next door to "Wings-n-Philly" to purchase hot wings and rejuvenate his taste buds ?

Food was good..I like how they offer rolls wrapped in cucumber instead of rice for a low carb/keto option. Was a little odd to me they charged 15% ‘service charge’ on my bill. There was also an area on receipt to add gratuity. We were a party of 3 with individual checks. Had we not noticed, we would’ve double tipped.

I got the new york steak hibachi. We went on a Saturday night and it was not packed. The rice had a great egg taste to it, the steak was perfectly seasoned, and the vegetables were cooked perfectly. We had Jojo as our server and they were very friendly and comfortable to speak to! Will definitely be coming back <3Parking: lots of spots

Please reconsider going to this restaurant ! The food is ok , but they charge you 15 percent gratuity just to get service . I have never eaten at a restaurant that charges for service .

Very kind staff and good food, but the break in hours during the week is really frustrating. Another one of the local businesses that make it increasingly difficult support them. As a result, I will begin going elsewhere for lunch when wanting sushi.

This was a fail this restaurant is not doing well so they charge the customer a $5.75 service charge to sit there and eat. So on top of the service that is part of your meal receipt the tip is separate from the meal. The service was bad and this place is a total fail don’t go unless you want to waste your money. The sushi all had to much sauce that all you tasted was that and not the sushi truly disappointed because it was not a cheap meal. The total bill including the tip along with service fee was over $56 and we got a tempera udon and only 2 sushi rolls. You have been warned go if your desperate but it’s not worth it there are many other better places to go.

It was good food, drinks, and fun. I loved the atmosphere. The food is delicious! I'm going to returning for more treats.Parking: Definitely appeared parking was simple. Wide open there.Wheelchair accessibility: They definitely attended to the disabled. There are plenty of ways for handicap people to get around.
They are newer and thus its not packed but the food is amazing. The staff is nice and they are very clean. Idk why some people don’t like momos but they really are great.

WOW! I haven't found a sushi restaurant I liked so a friend recommended Momo. Just wow! Wonderful service, everyone was very kind. Clean and peaceful atmosphere. And the food? I had to hold back from ordering more sushi rolls because I was really full, but I would've kept ordering if I could! Definitely try the Panic Roll if you like jalapeños and the Caterpillar Roll for some yummy crab salad. The ginger dressing on the salad was delicious and even our simple order of fried rice made me want to lick the bowl. Just all around amazing.
