Mm mm mm! This place is delicious! Went here two times while visiting GA. Great service and food. Large dining area with pretty decent space between parties. I love the creole/cajun flavors. The crawfish dinner with fried and étouffée was soo good. The crawfish tasted fresh. And the étouffée was rich and hearty. The lump crab cakes came in a rich butter sauce that allows you to dip every bite. Don't sleep on the greek salad! They toss it up for you table side. If you have a bigger appetite I do suggest one of the Chef's Specials. The Mississippi Opelop-o- something was really good! Huge portion of blackened catfish topped with lump crab meat, oysters and shrimp all in a cream butter white wine sauce, with dirty rice! The rib eye is also tender and well seasoned if you want beef. Honestly everything on the menu looked and smelled delicious! Definitely a favorite restaurant here in GA!
Excellent food. Casual atmosphere. Clean.
This place is next door to me but the older location at Jimmy Carter is my spot. I've heard many customers and waiters say the same. I wish this place was better but I just make the drive to the Jimmy carter branch, You won't be disappointed there.
The Good: Tadrea! Our server was fantastic! Tadrea has a delightful personality and made our dining experience on Thursday evening a positive. She definitely should be recognized. The food is always delicious, generous servings, and presented well. The atmosphere is perfect. The Bad" We had made a reservation via on-line and requested to be seated away from the kitchen. We were seated 2 tables from the kitchen (sigh!). I even got hit in the back of the head by a server rushing back to the kitchen, with no apology offered. The Ugly: We arrived 30 minutes early from our reservation time to enjoy drinks at the bar. We sat there for 10 minutes before we were even acknowledged. A bartender put menus in front of us, said she would be "right back". 15 minutes later she never came back. Our table became ready so we left the bar. This was a 25 minute sit at the bar with NO service. Shame on your staff! Your restaurant missed an opportunity to increase its revenue and the bartender missed out on whay would have been a generous tip.
This was 3rd visit to the Duluth location My friend and I were seated at the bar. The wait for food/drinks was slow. We were pleased with all that was served. I am writing this review to let other patrons to be AWARE of their bill . My card was compromised. Immediately, I began getting alerts on my phone for fraudulent charges. Thank God for the bank declining. Just received a call from corporate and the video was looked at, bartender did not copy or do anything unusual with my card. All the charges were at the exact time I was leaving restaurant. I will never patronize this location. The Jimmy carter location will get my business, where I have never had an issue. You may want to look at your bill very close!.
I'm back for lunch during weekday. So far so good. Was seated right away. Made our order let's see how it turns out. Good news... out of the two entrees and sides. They only messed up one side. I'll be back eventually. Just pricey for lunch but worth it.
Great food, awesome atmosphere.
They have great food and a great staff. We had a mishap with cupcakes we brought for my daughters birthday. The waitress Ashanti and the manager apologized for someone else’s mistake and made a big adjustment to the bill to make it up to us! We will definitely be back!
This was my 2nd time visiting the restaurant since moving from New York. I had guests visiting from Orlando Fl, that had never been to the restaurant. We had Misty as our server, she was OUTSTANDING, professional, tentative, friendly and funny. Our food was a little delayed being prepared and served but she continued to keep us informed. She was an amazing server that would make visit more. Thank you Misty, our visit was GREAT. Niki, From Brooklyn to Georgia
I stopped here for a quick bite to eat. I am a usual at the Jimmy Carter, Norcross location. I guess I am accustomed to the treatment at that location being a regular. I felt the service was slow but I arrived at shift change and there was only one person working the bar. Shari was very nice. I ordered the new shrimp and crab pasta dish and it was delicious. I will have to remember to order it without tomatoes next time. All in all the food was good, but it's just not the ambiance I am used to at the other location.
The service is wonderful and courteous
food was good, server was friendly, helpful with menu choices and his overall service was great.
Thank you Serenity C. for stepping up. Our first server ignored us. Cleaned instead of fixing our drinks. Serenity saw we weren't being taking care of and asked how we were. We love the gumbo!
The food is good and consistent. Since the covid pandemic, they've removed several items from their menu, and, unfortunately, they're items I enjoyed. But they do have great options so I don't feel like I'm missing out. My husband loves this place and would eat here every week if he could.
amazing service amazing seafood surf and turf the fried alligators amazing but the best thing of all is that turtle tracks fudge brownie thing that they have it is to die for. can I get an amen?
