I take my reviews seriously, so let's start....I ordered red snapper w/lump crab meat and spinach. The spinach was overly seasoned with garlic and crunchy because it was not cooked throughly or evenly. Some leaves were soft others undone. So I asked for a different side, red beans and rice. I'm from Louisiana and I've never had red beans with this strong of a flavor. There was some unpleasant seasoning in them that left a weird after taste, barely any sausage in my serving and it was bland as well. Red snapper was a 3.5/5.Now the bartender, Eddie, was a 1 out of 5 (we ate at the bar). He was not attentive, never came back to ask if we were good or needed anything. He didn't give us silverware, napkins, didn't offer us water at any point, acted like he didn't want to be there, charged us for a Patron perfect margarita when all we asked for was a mango margarita.. he took it upon himself to select which liquor! I had to ask another bartender and a barback for items we needed. I had to loudly call his name just to get the silverware. Poor customer service!! My meal and experience was not worth a $140 tab, disappointed!

My husband and I went here for date night. A go to spot for date night. I had the purple voodoo cocktail and my husband had a bloodmary. He said it was on the sweeter side. We had the shrimp and crawfish fondeaux, raw oysters (which were half off when we went), catfish and dirty rice and cheesecake. Everything was great and so was the service. From the bar as we waited for our table to the dinner service. We usually go to the location on Jimmy Carter but we enjoyed this location as well..

You know, a very disappointing experience close to a 2 hour.Wait on top of that, the stake that we received wasn't exactly cooked, as it should have been at medium rare was more medium.Another thing is as we ordered the fruits with the Kids macaroni and cheese yet they never arrived. And when I asked about the fruits she said we don't do that anymore. And I said it would have been nice to know that when we ordered that you said okay. We'll bring it, but you're telling me now. That that's different. My wife ate off the gluten free menu And got salmon only and was going to eat. The fruit as part of her meal but it never arrived. I asked for lemon multiple times and the server. Didn't bring it's until she finally did. We kept waiting things. She wasn't checking on us often enough. Her memory was really terrible. Probably smokes a lot of pot And when people do that, the best thing to do is to write your things down, another thing is. There was no tissue in at least 3 of the ladies. Bathroom stalls that my wife kept having to go and check. Really, really big disappointment, but we are with friends. We didn't want to make any complaints about it is. The lady that ordered the steak also didn't get her potato. We had to ask for the potato when she finally brought the potato I had to ask again for lemon It wasn't pretty good experience for my wife and I since we weren't paying but overall the time to be seated, the time for food arriving. The everything added up to quite a disappointing experience

This was our first time on this location and our first time eating in a Pappadeaux. We came for a birthday party for my mom. To start off it was really nice location and the staff was really friendly. It had very good ambience as well. And since we were a party of 15 people they actually let us wait on one of their private rooms. Well they set up our table. I just wish they actually put us in that room since we were such a big party as we were split in into two tables it would have been better to have one long table so we could all be together. It had very good accommodation for one of our disabled family members and wheelchair friendly. We wanted to thoroughly enjoy our first time in this location and to start off with the appetizers it was actually really good. We got the baked oysters, the alligator, the spinach and crab cake artichoke dip and they were all very good well seasoned and tasty. It all started falling apart when we got the main dishes. Everyone ordered the specialty dishes that they have and unfortunately it was very very salty. They could have cut the salt content on the dishes in half and it would have been really good because I could taste the potential on the dishes that they have. I got the halibut It was cooked very well had a cream sauce but it was very salty in the end almost unbearably salty. My daughter got the aged steak the first bites were good but then it ended up very very salty again. My niece and nephew ordered the mocktails and it was actually very good. Unfortunately we did not end up buying any of the real cocktails here so we are not able to try it. We did end up buying multiple bottles of wine and for the most part they have a decent selection. Overall I would like to try to come here again but hopefully they will fix the salt content on their food.

Curbside orders: Please take the time to ALWAYS check your food. Never take anyone word for it!This week ordered a salad - arrived home no dressing.A few weeks prior - placed an order, asked for Tarter sauce. Arrived home no Tarter sauceA few months ago (stop visiting because of the errors). Ordered a Seafood platter with a baked pototoe. Arrived home no pototoe. Called and asked to receive a refund for the missing item. No apology provided. "Call back tomorrow, they said".My family and I enjoy seafood and it's convenient to our home. However, I dont prefer to micro manage anyone!!

Our server duke was the most amazing server I've ever had at a restaurant. Please treat him well and take care of him because people in the service industry with his skills are hard to find. 100/100 experience will come back again!

For the longest time, I was told Pappadeaux was overrated. So my fiancé and I visited and the place was amazing. Great customer service and great food

I had an absolutely terrible experience that was unlike any other time. The worst thing about it was the waitress who seemed to be in a foul mood. When I informed a member of the management that we had not received what we asked for, the waitress became hostile. They forgot to include the lobster tail order and when it finally came out, it was nothing but scraps. The entire experience went downhill from there. The waitress came back and tried to prove a point, even though six other people heard her say exactly what she was saying. Her behavior was completely unprofessional and she even tried to tell me off. I was extremely disappointed, especially considering that my bill came up to $181. This was a huge miss, especially since I've had good experiences at this restaurant before. Despite the fact that we didn't receive refills, our food was late to the table, and the food wasn't timely, I still left a note and a very small tip.

The waiter was outstanding, very professional. The food was great and as they say in the South it was a gracious plenty! We will go back often.

April 11, 2024 UpdateIt’s been a long minute since dining here but decided to check out during lunch on my wife’s birthday. Was pleasantly surprised at the staff and service. All was was above average and they even provided my wife a complimentary birthday dessert.Feb 14 2022 Update:Hadn’t been since this location opened up some time ago. The food was tasty as expected and the service was good for early on Valentines Day. While our entrees were on point the desert seemed to be rushed as the brownie was not consistent in texture but was half gooey and half cake. It really made me wonder if it was cooked through and through. I will say that management needs to be aware that their tables and chairs need serious attention as they were extremely wobbly to the point of concern. While our table was clean, we also noticed service items on the floor around our table. From 2019 Soft OpeningThe newest location in the ATL. Just attended the soft opening for friends and families. First off I must say thank you for allowing my wife and me to attend this opening. Its been awhile since eating at a Pappadeauxs but eating a brand new location was very much a treat. The entire team was awesome and very attentive. The training crew was amazing and you could really tell have a great time opening a new restaurant. We first had an appetizer of 2 crab cakes and my wife said these were the best she has ever had, I agree they were amazing. The entrees we selected were the salmon and fried oysters. Both hit the spot as if typical of most Pappadeauxs. All in all another great restaurant that hit the mark and will be a welcome addition to the Lawrenceville GA area.

So I'm not a fan of this location. I continue to come here because it's convenient to where I leave. It's too much driving out the way to go to other locations. I would give 2 stars but I have enjoyed myself in the past. The concern I have is more with the take out, carry out process. Whatever time they quote your food to be ready, double that and add an additional 5 minutes to it. 6 out of 10 times, your order will be incorrect or missing items. Please check your food before you leave. When placing an order by phone, they are rushing you like they understand, then when it's wrong they try to blame you. It's just disappointing and frustrating. I promise I try to be understandable. They give you such a hard time for substitution. They don't care about diets, allergies, etc. When subbing catfish for tilapia, they will serve you catfish like you can tell the difference. Similar in look but the taste is different for sure. The customer service should be better. After all, it's not cheap. Plus the prices keep increasing. I ordered 2 tilapias and after driving 40 minutes home, they gave me 1 1/2 tilapias, smh. I wasn't driving back and it's not worth complaining. I have in the past, it is what it is.Update: I had an order for carryout around $200 yesterday 12-21-22, and I was missing items as stated before. When I advised I wanted to check my order before I left, the waiter place the food in my vehicle and walked away. I was missing a salad and I had no condiments. After double checking everything, I spend 25 minutes going back and forth asking for what should've been checked by the restaurant. The food was decent but cold when I got home. So...no improvements from earlier review. Oh yeah, they raised the prices AGAIN. Honestly I'm going to look for another restaurant, something different. Too much money being spent for the same results. Cost of living is going up but not wages. So, spend your money where you won't be consistently disappointed.
