This comment is about the salad which was amazing but it's more geared to the young lady that works there. Great little restaurant with amazing fresh food and friendly owners. We had the sampler platter, rutabaga fries, and the jerk shrimp. Everything was flavorful and perfect. Soda by the can. We'll try the nachos on homemade chips next time.
This is a lunch place and I am not local, so I barely managed to squeak in towards the end of their opening hours. It appeared that they are running mostly if not entirely as a takeout. The menu had several vegan options, but I ended up going for a salad which came with cheese, as well as ample nuts and a sweet dressing (southern salads do tend to be heavy and sweet).
