We almost always stop here as we're leaving for a road trip. It's not fast food but not slow dine in service either. For $15 you can get your choice of a type of seafood, chicken, fries, hushpuppies, and a drink and a selection of sauces. Absolutely delicious and a great deal to leave with a full belly. Can also order ahead of time by calling in or online. Looks from the outside are deceptive, but the service will make you feel like family without hurting the wallet.
This has to be one of the best restaurants in Macon, and I've eaten in quite a few. Nothing fancy and you won't mind it. I think it's an old Huddle House or something like it. The "ambiance", if that's what you're looking for, is the joy on the people's faces as they anticipate their food. You know they know.Went in about 8PM and there was a long line. Stopped by on my way home from working out of town. The service was great, the food was hot and delicious and the pricing was fair. That Red Velvet Cake was the grand finale to my meal and it was goood!!!!!
