From someone who used to live in San Diego, CA for many years, this is some of the best Mexican food I have ever had. If you want texmex, this is not the place. The food is authentic. I felt like I was walking into my best friend's house (from Mexico). The food tasted just like hers and her mom's. I've never experienced such authentic Mexican food at any restaurant (even from CA). This is the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. The food was great. We ordered the chilaquiles and enchilada verdes. Best chilaquiles I've ever had. The enchiladas were delicious. Food is served on warm ceramic plates and drinks are served in clay cups. The restaurant is decorated wonderfully and quirky.
