“Surprisingly good Italian food. Probably the best in Cobb County. Fresh bread and pizza were delicious. Meatballs and tomato sauce were perfect. Ravioli and risotto were delicious. A little expensive but were ordered everything. My family loved the food and we are Italian. My wife was not happy with her mixed drink, but I thought it taste fine. Maybe a different slightly sweeter fruity drinks would be a good addition to house speciality drinks for some diners. Tiramisu was tasty. Would definitely go again“
“Tonight we finished off our 26 anniversary with an early dinner at Piastra, the excellent Marietta Square, Italian restaurant. Our appetizer was delicious, my Steak was perfectly grilled rare with a crusty crust... Or as I described it to Cheyenne, our fabulous waitress Burnt outside bloody inside. Every creative touch, sauce and season were perfect. Restaurateur Betty stopped by and checked on us too. Thank you for a delicious meal with wonderful service.“
“My husband and I have ordered pizza here a handful of times now and the food is always on point. I have dietary restrictions so have to order my pizza pretty modified and there is never any issue. They are very accommodating and even with the modifications the pizza is still scrumdiddlyumptious. Crust has a nice crunch while still being soft. They do not skimp on the toppings and you can tell the ingredients are a cut above your average delivery pizza. I first started ordering from here based on a recommendation of a coworker, and now I pass that nugget of knowledge along to anyone asking about a good slice!“
“Just ate at Mezza Luna for the first time and will definitely be going back! They have a gluten free menu and delicious food! Authentic Italian in Marietta. The owners are from southern Italy. Cocktails were great and the food yummy! Don’t hesitate trying this restaurant!“
“This place was amazing. I have lived in the area for o er 10 years and this is our first visit. Our server Taylor was fantastic. Service was impeccable. Her recommendation of the scallop appetizer was the best tasting scallops we've ever had. My husband had the chicken special and it was delicious. I had the standard spaghetti and meatballs and it was yummy. The portion was too large for us so we took the rest home. We also opted for dessert and it was also excellent. I'm sorry we didn't visit sooner. This is definitely going to be one of our favorites.“
“My boyfriend and I went to your restaurant Thurs. night. We has a good time and our Chicken parmagiana and pizza were great. What I need to know is if you use any Stevia with monkfruit in the pink lemonade (or any beverage there) as I'm allergic to sugar alcohols. I use Raw Stevia-w/o monkfruit and don't have any problems and got sick Thurs. night. Just curious because one restaurant I ate at-Baker's Diner-used fake crab in their salmon-crab sandwich and Monkfruit in their tea and I got sick both times. Since we didn't have any seafood, I thought it might be the Monkfruit variety since a lot more restaurants use that variety in their unsweetened teas and other us beverages and yogurts, Bai drinks, etc. I'll still return though since I like your food anyway. There are people who might be sensitive to it like with Aspartame's Equal (those with PKU). Let me know, please.“
“The food was great, but the service was even better. Our server logan was a god send today. On top of being polite, giving us ample time, and being super descriptive of the food he also helped with our picky eater. Our daughter can be really hesitant with new food, so we struggled a bit to find something she liked. Logan not only helped us with suggestions but also helped us get her to try her food. It took some bargaining and one cookie, but she ate. Big thanks for that, and we'll definitely be back.“
“Staff was great--very accommodatin, as I had to work online while eating. Ambiance was nice--quiet, but with nice music playing. And the food--outstanding, as always! I used to eat here several times a week when I lived in town (I moved out of state), and I make every effort to eat here whenever I'm back in town. Everything is delicious and made fresh, and I have a hard time deciding what to order. Salads are amazing! Sandwiches are wonderful! Wings are out of this world! But I almost always get the best pizza I've ever eaten anywhere. I compare all pizza everywhere to this pizza, and other pizza always comes up short!Only one wish--add some electrical outlets and/or phone charging stations to the seating area, please. I could only work until my laptop got low on battery power.Vegetarian options: Plenty of options (not just salads)Dietary restrictions: They have gluten-free crusts and Daiya (vegan) cheese.Parking: LOTS of free parkingKid-friendliness: It's a pizza joint! Fun, hippie-era vibe. Cool music. Nothing offensive.“
“This was my second time here. Consistent, delicious. Great group of people working here that are super friendly and take care of everything you need. It's very cozy on the inside and smells amazing. There are a couple of booths as well as table seating. Highly recommend the sausage and peppers with pasta as well as the chicken Parm. But my favorite will always be cheese pizza.“
“I'm kind of an expert when it comes to what I call Jersey Italian. I miss Alfredo's (Cheshire Bridge), which was the quintessential example in Atlanta for years but closed years ago. I schlepped up to Vespucci's for my mom's birthday dinner, expecting a ho hum meal. Boy was I wrong! The eggplant parm and chicken francese were perfection! These dishes were prepare skillfully. Tons of flavor, not greasy. The eggplant was thinly sliced, like the kind I had in Italy. The francese had a lovely exterior, not gummy. It had a nice lemon zing to it, but so well balanced. My Caesar side salad was just right. Our server, Ramona, was charming and funny.I will drive up here more often to take my parents out for dinner, and can't wait to return. Bravo!“
“Simply, this is a (small), privately owned restaurant (who also serves and/or cooks, too). The pizza, frankly, is the best New York style in Atlanta ... go there, open the door, do the smell test ... its nuts!!! The aroma is pure Italian cooking! Tell them Anne & Lance sent you!“
“This is a solid place. They are consistently good and have good service. We have tried over half the menu now and have been impressed every single time. Just honestly good. Plus you can order single slices. A great and affordable lunch from this place is a single slice with a salad. The slices are very generous. Way to go Johnny's!“
“First time visit yesterday, no wait for a table of 2 and few groups on a Saturday. It looked like they had 1 server who was also seating people but he was still very attentive to all the tables. Other servers mostly came out to deliver food I think, but it was pretty slow so no harm.Got the cheese bread and ordered the alfredo, subbed the fettuccine for penne, added chicken. The sauce was very flavorful, pasta cooked well but the chicken left a lot to be desired. On its own, it was very bland and the sauce didn't really save it either. And it's a bit disappointing when you pay 5.50 to add said chicken to the dish and I got maybe 10 or so pieces? There was more alfredo sauce than food honestly, but it was good so no major complaints.Overall I'd go back to try their pizza or a stromboli. Might give a different pasta dish a try as well.Parking: Very small parking lot, if it's busy expect to have difficulty parkingKid-friendliness: Has a kids menu“
“My husband and I used to deliver for these guys through UberEats and DoorDash back in 2019. They were always respectful. Food was always made on time, sometimes a little later than usual. We have even bought food and drinks from them. Their pizza was always spot on. I wish we still lived there to order more of their food. I highly recommend this place. The owner is really nice as well, and is very respectful.“
“We randomly found this place when driving back to Atlanta to fly home. It had great reviews and most other restaurants close by didn’t. We lucked out!! This food was amazing and the folks working were so friendly!! We got the Caprese salad to start off and we were in heaven. The fresh made mozzarella was beyond delicious. We also got the meatball sub and the chicken parmesean sub- also both delicious. We wish we had room for dessert but we sadly didn’t! When we visit Atlanta again, we will definitely be back!!!“
