Order was incorrect. Items left off my breakfast. Forgot to put on the only item ordered by my wife. I was halfway finished before it arrived. Never once asked if we'd like more coffee, despite speaking twice with the gentleman next to me at the counter. Not what I've come to expect from decades of stops at dozens of Waffle Houses. Pete was very helpful, even though he wasn't our server.
I went in as they were backed up. It took a while to get my food but the staffs attitude and personality made up for it. More specifically, Irving (a cook) was cooking, serving people, and tending to any needs anyone had. I have never seen a Waffle House cook do more than what they were expected to do. I hope Waffle House shows their appreciation to such a high value employee.
