In all honesty the food is good. But I was really hoping for some hibachi, ramen and bento box due to the yelp photos of the menu. All of which are gone. (Based on what I hear from the other patrons I'm not the only one that's disappointed here). Even the name is different on the menu. The good: egg roll is surprisingly good. Shrimps are very large. The food was good. Portions were larger than normal. The items on the lunch menu were not your typical Chinese food items, forcing you to eat/order from the regular menu. For example, I wanted chicken fried rice (not on the lunch menu...what??). The regular menu price was $9. If it was on the lunch menu, I would have paid ~$7.50 and that would have included soup! The server was very attentive! I like this place.
I just wanna start out that I'm very very very picky about my food!! Shouldn't be a bad thing right?!? Anyways..I moved here from out of town and it's hard enough finding standards up to your likings..I have to say it like that but again I'm picky! So with all that being said I have to congratulate China star!!! I'm sooooo impressed cause it's very rare to match your likings allot of the times on spot!!! Thank you and yes yes yes I will be returning!!!..... Don't change a thing!!!!
