I have liked Tin Drum since it started almost 15 years ago, but lately its getting worse. I came to this location and ordered curry chicken bowl and iced tea for around $19 including tip. I got a bowl with lots of white rice, about a quarter pound of chicken and barely enogh sauce to we the top layer of rice when I asked for some extra sauce, I was told that that would cost me another $3, after expressing my frustration they gave me some extra curry sauce at no charge. Food and bubble tea are both great! My favorites are the panang curry and phuket woon sen. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is the brown sugar bubble tea because it's basically just milk. All the others I've tried have been good though. New owner and new management have improved flavor, quality, consistency, menu options, and service. A friend had encouraged me to try them again recently, and wow, what a difference! It is like an entirely new and different cafe: clean, bright, and knowledgeable. The packaged snacks and delicious, freshly made boba drinks are nice additions.
