“Visited on 02/15/24. You seat yourself (which I do not like. All restaurants should great their customers). It was not busy, so I sat down and a few mins later I was greated by J'viana. She was great, always checked on me. The food was just good. I ordered chicken tenders and waffles. I was expecting the chicken to wow me. They had a strawberry butter and spicy syrup that I tried.. They were different but didnt make me go wow...I gotta come back for it. The coffee was good, strong and hot. Just like I like it.The place was clean. Just need some color in the decor. “We've been a fan of Riverboat for years, but now they truly have my heart. I was born and raised on the east side of Detroit, and I know a Detroit style pizza when I see one. The pans are newly seasoned so I know the pizzas are gonna get even better... But they've knocked it out of the park. It wouldn't surprise me if this ends up being the best pizza in Savannah.... “My new favorite pizza place on this side of town. They’ve been open awhile, but i have been hesitant because I do love pork. Finally tried them tonight, and was pleasantly surprised. Who knew beef pepperoni tasted so good? I got the pepperoni lovers pizza and 12 wings. The pizza is fantastic with a buttery crust and not too sweet sauce. The wings are fried , not baked, as they should be. I will definitely be going back.“

“It was our last day in Savannah and we wanted out of the tourist traps and to find somewhere you can tell the food was cooked with love. A quick search told us we had to try Simple Soul or not consider our trip complete. A little off the beaten path that is downtown, which was so welcome, and we found this amazing place and its outstanding owner. She was so sweet and kind we already knew her food was going to be out of the world. This was the best food we had while here because it came from her soul and it showed. “This is my second visit to this location and each time the customer service and food was top tier. The young lady taking our order, Shynelius, took our order, repeated it back to us for accuracy, and was professional and friendly. When we got there the Coke from the soda fountain went out and when I told Shynelius she changed it immediately and letting us know when we could use it. Also, during our meal she came over to ask if we needed anything else. I’ve never had such excellent customer at the Hinesville or Victory drive locations. I will definitely be back to this location.“

Hands down this place makes the absolute best Pizza I have ever had - anywhere! Ordering is easy and delivery is prompt. With fewer and fewer (good) food choices here on the islands we are very lucky top have them.“

I had the Rib Combo which included the potato salad. It's was so good and reminded me of the times when my aunt's use to cook down home meals when I was a child.
