City Market is a busy tourist spot, but I'm not sure why when there are other parts of the district that are more appealing and seem much safer. Don't get me wrong, during daylight, City Market is perfectly fine... but I wouldn't bring the kids here when it's dark. Somehow, City Market has become the playground for the homeless and dealers. I am born and raised in Savannah Ga. Friday, I decided to visit the different stores, ate lunch and actually, enjoyed, sitting in the Sun relaxing! It's pitiful to be born here and just beginning to appreciate what Savannah has to offer..... everyone!Walkability: The squares are close, so walking is probably best...of course!
