We went on a vacation to Savannah for a week and this place was the best part of our trip! The food was fantastic, the BBQ tasted tender and delicious and full of fresh flavor. The mac and cheese was actual delicious mac and cheese and the noodles were cooked perfectly. The other sides were also delicious. They had fantastic biscuits! The drinks were great. We went here for lunch on a Friday afternoon and had a very enjoyable experience. We tried the fried tomatoes and barbecue shrimp as appetizers. They were both tasty. The bbq shrimp didn’t look like what we expected, it came with broth and bread (kinda like a southern version of a gambas al ajillo) but it was quite tasty.We ordered the redfish, shrimp grits and shrimp po-boy. Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.
