“This is a place that you order at the counter and get your own drinks, so not much to grade service on. It’s also a bit small and cramped with nothing really setting any atmosphere, but the food is very good and the prices are impossible to beat.“
“You won't expect this intimate and elegant restaurant from the street. The service is outstanding and friendly. The waiters are very professional and make you feel like a VIP. The Hemingway Cocktail, Crab Soup, and Lobster Risotto are my top suggestions. I will return to try other dishes. I recommend it 100%.“
“Very nice place for dinner and was highly recommended by our hotel. Piano players both up and downstairs. The one thing I will say was that we went to the restaurant (not knowing they had a downstairs) we were told only the bar or outside (out front with no view of the water and very chilly) since we didn't have reservations. This was totally understandable, however, the much older hostess NEVER mentioned the downstairs restaurant and bar at all. We happened to go back out and go down the river area in search of another restaurant and we stumbled across downstairs. Hostess downstairs was SHOCKED that upstairs never mentioned them downstairs or that there was an elevator to bring you down. (makes sense since there was an elevator across from the hostess stand). Food was very good and our server Kendra, was very attentive and quick with the drinks and apps. Piano player was very good too. Just remember that if upstairs is full there IS a downstairs with a large bar, dining area and outside sitting (river view) as well.“
“Our group chose Vic's River Grill for a birthday celebration and it was definitely over the top! Starting with the organizer, Nicole, making everything absolutely perfect upon our arrival to our Kate, otherwise known as our most superb server, and finally to the appearance by the precious co-owner/chef, Wheaton, who visited to make certain all were pleased! The food, the cocktails, the champagne, and the ambiance were absolutely awesome! Among our group of 12, I believe we taste-tested almost the entire menu and the food was amazing! The delivery was impressive for a group of our size and the presentations were spectacularly done! Whether dinner for a couple, brunch for friends, or hosting a larger event, Vic's River Grill is a top choice!“

“I went with my sisters and my mom to this restaurant on our girls trip. It was amazing!! First, they remembered my name from when I made a reservation in person and greeted me right when I walked in. The staff was so incredibly sweet. They went above and beyond to make our experience great. They had a wonderful mock-tail menu and the bartender made sure to tell us all about them. Get all the veggies! They were amazing! My sister is gluten free, and they were very accommodating for her. The staff was very involved with serving us, always making sure we were well attended to. They were also great at conversation. I thought I lost my camera, so I went back and every server tried to help me find it. I could not say enough about how kind they were to us. Friendly staff, great drinks, very clean, and amazing food! We will definitely be coming back!“
“My partner and I went there for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. The environment really shines after sunset with its candle lighting. The food was amazing, my favorite part of the dinner was the appetizer. We had the mussels which were savory and salty with a hit of spice at the end. Afterwards I had the curry while they had the ribeye. Both were delicious, the ribeye was tender and juicy while the curry was complex and warm. For desert we had the house made ice cream as well as a chocolate bark. The bark was not to my liking personally (I’m not a fan of bitter chocolates). The house made banana ice cream though was exquisite. Smooth, creamy ice cream with a strong taste of real banana.“
“OMG, if I would have found this place sooner I would’ve went home 20lbs heavier! The food is OUTSTANDING and huge portions! I had the Cuban bowl with steak. I asked for a side of chimichiri let’s just say IT was CRAZY good! The flavors were amazing together and I honestly can’t remember the last time I had a meal like that. Run don’t walk to grab your Cuban Fix!! Highly recommend!“
“We thoroughly enjoyed our 1/2 bird plate and biscuits. The best fried chicken we've ever had actually. We were not disappointed. Portions were generous. Staff was the most knowledgeable and friendliest that we've ever experienced and we travel a lot and always try local eateries.“

“Food was wonderful and the service perfect. The standouts were the brisket, fried shrimp and oysters, brussel sprouts, Cole slaw, gumbo and crab stew. So, basically everything we ordered! I actually ordered the slaw but once my husband tasted it and liked it so much he took it from me.Also shout out to Jamal our waiter. Great recommendations from him.“
“We spent the entire meal saying YUM. I'm usually not very impressed at steakhouses since they all tend to have the same thing but this was one of the best meals I've had in a while. My husband and I stayed at the Plant Riverside for our anniversary and decided on the Stone & Webster for our celebratory dinner. We made a last minute decision to try dinner here so we didn't have a reservation but we're able to have full service sitting at the bar and it was great. Taylor, the bartender, was a GEM! She was so attentive, friendly and offered great suggestions. What we ordered: Filet Wagu steak frites Mushrooms Squash Broccolini The steaks were cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The sides really made the meal that much better though. If you go here you cannot sleep on the side dishes. I'm still drooling over the mushrooms. Everything we had was so delicious. Since we were celebrating an anniversary we were also treated to some macrons which were also very tasty, lemon & pistachio. Oh and if you're a whiskey drinker they have a great selection. 10/10 experience, ambiance and service. Would definitely go back if we visited town again.“
“We were in Savannah for St Patrick’s Day & looking for a good soul food restaurant. We searched & stumbled onto 2 Chefs Gullah Geechee Soul Food. The food was awesome. I had the red rice, collards, Mac & cheese & fried fish. We really enjoyed our meals & we will definitely be back next time we visit Savannah.“
“Evan was the best! Absolutely pleasant very attentive and most personable! It was my mother's 74th birthday and Evan Absolutely enhanced the occasion!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly and accommodates in whatever capacity they can!Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible“
“This restaurant was fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was informative and attentive and made sure we always had whatever we wanted. The atmosphere is great and restaurant was clean and fun to be in from start to finish. I loved the overall atmosphere because they have made it so you have privacy with your group but there is still a larger experience of the restaurant. The drinks and bartender was fantastic and efficient! The food was also amazing! I had a series of oysters as an appetizer and then a scallop risotto that was perfectly cooked. I am Italian and super picky when it comes to risotto and this was great risotto. The scallops were perfectly cooked. My husband got a chicken Caprese which is a somewhat lighter version of chicken parm and it was flavorful and light and tender. Dessert was also fantastic. I cannot wait to come back here!“
“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. And dessert was just okay for me to much cream not enough banana. BANANA PUDDING WAFERS, VANILLA PUDDING, CREAM“
“The food and service is outstanding. Mickey was beyond amazing, helping us get a large group in with short notice. She could not have been nicer about the whole process. The food was delicious - I personally had the Mac-N-Cheese, but everybody loved their dishes, including salads, fried bison, and especially the shrimp and grits.“

“We called to order food from here and the owner asked me if we had been there. Being from out of town I told him. I and he suggested we come in and do a taste testing before we order…So we did and it was awesome!! The staff was extremely knowledgeable and extremely friendly. It was the right decision. Hands down, the best food we had while being in Savannah. I recommend David’s to everyone. All I can say is WOW!!!“
“The lobster and crab dip was delicious! We got 4 appetizers so we could sample. My daughter said the tuna bites were outstanding! I have never had better tasting crab cakes, my favorite ?, with an amazing mango relish. Last but not least, the calamari came with a perfect chimichiri!“
“I was flabbergasted. The menu is broad, price is on point, the presentation and taste is perfection. I got the Snow Crab with medium De Jor spice/sauce, came with corn and potato. Let me tell you I was MOPPING that Cajun herb sauce stuff up with everything in sight... including the chicken tenders from the basket I got as a side. The Sweet potato waffle fries were amazing too.We got there 40 minutes before closing and still got perfect service. We ate last night on 04/02/2023.These folks must be from West Monroe, Louisiana.“
“I dined in on wings and Philly cheesesteak. Both were very good and came out super hot and fresh! And the french fries were very hot just like I like them. I am most pleased with this location and I will certainly be back. Place is clean and everything was full of stock.“
“Had a nice dinner here on our initial visit. The Pan Seared Pork Dumplings were good. The Shanghai Fried Rice and the Wok Sautéed Shrimp & Minced Pork were both very good. Indoor seating only. The Peacock Lounge is down the stairs, below the restaurant.“
“My better half and I visited Love's recently in mid February. We were on an extended weekend holiday and returned to Savannah for a few days. I lived there in 2014-2015 not far from Love's and had dinner there on occasionally. We arrived at Love's at 3:30 pm on a Saturday and were seated within a few minutes at the cozy table for two with a view of the lawn and the river. It was a good time to arrive. We ordered fried green tomatoes and oysters for appetizers, and our entrees were the stuffed flounder and the broiled salmon. Both entrees were wonderfully done, and consistent with what I recalled from my prior visits to the restaurant from nearly 10 years prior.Kudo's to Loves for a great experience and a great memory.“
“The only thing I asked for, for my birthday was for my husband to bring me here for a dinner date night! We came years ago with family and our experience was so amazing I had to go back! This time we sat upstairs and it was absolutely amazing! Our server was wonderful and she was sweet enough to snap our photo! It’s a stunning dining room and I can’t wait to go back! I ordered the seafood Alfredo and it was chefs kiss!“
“Wow!! OD Seafood is my new favorite place!! My wife and I are in the process of relocating to Savannah from the Emerald Coast of Florida. Seafood restaurants are abundant. I have caught and eaten more than my share of fresh seafood. A few weeks ago I placed an order and Tiffany, the wonderful young lady taking my order, made sure that I was calling the right restaurant location. This was my 2nd night in town, so I didn't know that there were 2 locations. Tiffany was amazing and the food was great!! I arrived in town tonight and came straight to OD Seafood to try it again. I was greeted by very friendly staff and saw many happy customers enjoying their meals. The atmosphere was very welcoming!! Ms. Tiffany, the same young lady from my initial encounter a few weeks earlier, took amazing care of me once again!! Several other staff members made their rounds and checked on me and the other customers over the course of my visit. I'm from the south and catfish was certainly a dish that my family from Louisiana knew how to cook. I'm also a pushover for fried shrimp and scallops, OD Seafood offers a heavenly platter that satisfies my desire for all three!! Thank you to the staff! I will certainly be back!!“
“Cool spot on the water. Burgers were good, but my crab sandwich special was nearly inedible due to heavy salt. The ordering and drink pickup is a little confusing: could use some signage for busy times. Very limited indoor seats. Don't visit on a cold, windy day. Geta busy quick, get there early.“
“So, Madame Butterfly—a spot my friend couldn't stop raving about. Our decision to swing by ended up being one of those spontaneous dining moments you cherish. As we snagged a same-day reservation, my friend's excitement was infectious—she was practically bouncing off the walls with anticipation. Now, let's talk food. We went in with high expectations, and Madame Butterfly didn't disappoint. The MADAME BANG SHRIMP? Let's just say, it was everything I could have hoped for and more. These shrimp were no joke—plump, juicy, and coated in the perfect amount of crispy goodness. Each bite was like a flavor explosion in my mouth, leaving me speechless (well, almost). As for cocktails, I'm usually a bit wary, but our waiter, John, convinced me to take a chance. And boy, am I glad I did. His pick, the MONARCH, was like nothing I've ever tasted before—a delightful concoction of Soju Barley, Strawberry, Honey Balsamic, Citrus, and Yogurt Espuma that had me practically licking the glass clean. It was sweet, tangy, and just downright delicious. (I have proof)My friend opted for the adventurous JAJANGMYON "BLACK NOODLES," a dish she saw from our neighbor table. While it wasn't quite to my taste initially, its unique flavor grew on me with each bite. On the other hand, my choice, the BIBIMBAP, was a revelation. Let me tell you, that marinated steak was the stuff of dreams—tender, flavorful, and oh-so-satisfying. Paired with the spicy gochujang sauce and pickled veggies, it was a flavor explosion that left me craving more. The marinated steak stole the show, perfectly complementing the other ingredients, though I could have done without the soggy rice at the bottom.Throughout our meal, John's recommendations were on point, and his warm demeanor only added to the experience. He made sure we felt right at home, which is exactly what you want in a dining companion. All in all, Madame Butterfly is the real deal. From the mouthwatering dishes to the top-notch service, it's a spot that'll keep you coming back for more. So, if you find yourself in Savannah, do yourself a favor and check it out.✨ Socials @itshalliegeorge (on everything)Dietary restrictions: I am highly/deadly allergic to all nuts, prepared it so well, and was informative and careful.“
“We toured around Savannah all day and checked in late in the day at our hotel, which was located nearby. Exhausted and ready for a cocktail and a light bite to relax with, we stopped in. The bartenders were friendly and helpful in helping us decide o. A sharable appetizer. Flatbread was what we ordered. Absolutely delicious! The drinks were good, Service was great and nice atmosphere.“
“The food was amazing! I went to Venson Cafe for the first time on 7/5 and ended up going back on 7/6 because the food was that good! We literally had to stop before we traveled back to DC for more wet lemon pepper wings! I had both the dry and wet lemon pepper wings, fries, some fresh juice they sell, and desserts were FYE!!!! Do yourself a favor and stop by! They’ll get you right at Venson Cafe!“
“The 5oz lemon pepper salmon with veggies, and fried rice was delicious. the salmon was perfectly cooked and flakey. Veggies consisted of onions, zucchini, and squash with a subtle sweet and almost smokey sauce. Would definitely come here again to try more of the menu. Very affordable. The server Amber, was very attentive, friendly, and had a calm, warm energy about her.“
“I've reduced a star because it is *not* the type of seafood I wanted, but it is in NO way bad! If you like low country boil style with minimal heat, you may love it! Has nice flavor and seasoning, but just not what I personally was looking for.For *me* I wanted a very spicy boil smothered in garlic, the Viet-Cajun style of New Orleans & Houston. The pictures looked like it might be it, but sadly this ain't that, and that's ok. I still enjoyed it.I got the spicy shrimp with cajun & garlic seasoning but I did not see a single piece of minced garlic, and I was hoping it would be smothered. It is not! I did not feel any spice to the "hot" and that was the most disappointing part. I am used to being a snotty, buttery mess but I was ok. Bummer, tbh.Overall, this place is tasty and enjoyable and I would recommend this place to those who have not experienced the Viet-Cajun crawfish boils.Oh yeah, you can't get crawfish rn because of global warming/droughts, so that is not their fault.“
“What a find. Beyond the typical local seafood, bringing in the curry levels up the flavor. Freshly made, the curried shrimp and crabcake sandwich is packed full of crab meat and not fillers. The hush puppies have a good traditional flavor with a little punch of crab. Delicious. Small place. I have a feeling I was lucky to get a seat because I showed up right after they opened. Worth a trip to Wilmington Island to have a meal here.“
“Ok so looking into the eyes of dead seafood is not a great atmosphere, the fresh seafood will make up for it. They will fry the shrimp and oysters while you wait. Any quantity. They also sell all types of seafood by the pound. No seating so take it home or to Daffin Park for a pick-nick!! Call ahead to get order started.Parking: Parking is wide open. Never a problem.“
“Love the no-walls setup. Enjoyed sitting outside and eating the food. The best. I actually live in Atlanta and was visiting with family. The food was the best seafood I've had in years. Can wait to go back. It will be my first stop. I just wanted more tartar sauce in my container. Thet gladly obliged when I asked for more.“
“Stopped by right before Thanksgiving ? Met a lady named Dana and I was told by the owner Ms. Joyce that Dana made the potato salad. Ohh my goodness everything was delicious. I had the Rib Combo which included the potato salad. It's was so good and reminded me of the times when my aunt's use to cook down home meals when I was a child. Thanks Ladies I will be back.Evelyn M.“
“We had a beautiful and delicious dinner at St. Neo’s! The host kindly greeted us and seated us at a beautiful bistro table overlooking Bay Street. Our server, Heather, was wonderful from start to finish. We ordered the butter board, steak frites and catch of the day. Everything was delicious, fresh, and seasoned perfectly. We already can’t wait to come back!“
“I enjoyed the catfish. It had a great flavor, unlike some i had in NOLA, which made me stay away from the fish for years. However, the shrimp seemed a bit odd and slightly overcooked, with a hint of burnt taste. Unfortunately, our fries were disappointingly soggy, although our baby surprisingly got a batch of good ones. The hush puppies were tasty but on the smaller side. While the portions were decent, the prices felt a bit high, I mean, it's sea food, so maybe that's why, but it still feels like the shrimp portion was kind of small . The view was fantastic, but it might get obstructed during crowded times like summer. Overall, it was a good experience that could be improved.“
“On a nice Saturday afternoon, sun shining, music playing, having a beer and some seafood at the district along the river - it doesn’t get much better than that! Although the bartenders were busy, they did a really nice job of taking care of our group. The service was great.I didn’t get the fish n chips but definitely had food envy; my buddy said it was awesome. Shrimp and grits also gave me food envy/fomo. The French fry’s were actually low key legit. Great spot to have some beers and good seafood by the river.“
“First time to visit Noble Fare and it was exceptional! Our server was Ben, and we knew from the first moment we met, he loved his job and was very accomplished at it!We loved the atmosphere and the decor. Our salads were fresh and delicious, the entrees (scallops for me, filet for my handsome fella’) were prepared perfectly and the dessert was a warm chocolate topping to a lovely experience! We will return and request Ben to be our server again!“
