Food was not good cabbage was sour tasting and oxtails were both sweet and salty. Must got new cooks but either way will not be eating here again. The smell when got food home smelled like garbage.

Food is delicious everytime I go. A medium plate can easily feed 2 people. Not a huge fan of the cabbage each time I I've tried it its bland and undercooked. I usually get extra rice in place of the cabbage. Fried chicken is very well seasoned, jerk turkey wings and jerk chicken well seasoned and cooked. Stew chicken is delicious as well. They just started making beef patties and those are delicious also.
This place is horrible!! I ordered food from here on 03/05/2024 and when I got home my whole entire house was stinking of the meals! It smelled extremely expired and I’m so hurt that me and my family didn’t notice it until we reached home. And I ordered food for my mom from this place as well! My mother got the fish and I got the oxtails and any time we would walk in the house, you could smell this protruding, sour scent throughout the house! And it was the food! It made me sick from both ends?? The fish and the oxtails smelled EXACTLY THE SAME, SOUR! I NEVER leave reviews even when the food from places isn’t that good but this is INSANE!! People should not eat from here. Please save yourselves and your families!

The young lady was so kind in her recommendations and her help. We were a long drive from home and decided to try a new place. This was worth it. I'm from Jamaica, raised by excellent cooks and this. Was. AMAZING! Even the kids were begging for more, they said "it taste like Grandma's". The only sad part is the hour long drive to get it again but it was WORTH IT! We had oxtails x2, fried crabs, peppered shrimp, and curried shrimp. Delicious ? 10/10 would recommend ?

i ordered on uber eats from this establishment so i could have something to eat for my lunch and it sincerely ruined my day. the only thing good that came from this order was the delivery. i ordered jerk chicken w rice and peas and cabbage w plantains… i don’t even know where to start.the jerk chicken wasn’t jerking enough for me. it was edible but it was burnt in some areas and there was hardly any sauce on it. the rice and peas looked suspicious and tasted bland i couldn’t even finish it. the cabbage was very crunchy w no flavor, didn’t finish that either.the only good thing about this meal was the plantains. other than that.. this zero was a HUGE disappointment for me and i honestly would not feed the meal to my worst enemy.

I agree with one of the reviews. The lady that works in the front taking orders is very rude and unfriendly. I go there often but since she's been there it makes me not want to go back. It's ashame.

This is our go to Jamaican restaurant. The ackee & salt fish and callaloo breakfast plates are delicious. If you are craving authentic Jamaican, you must give Wavez a try!

I am sad to say I tried this restaurant once, and I will not be returning because the food tasted so disgusting that I threw it in the trash. $17 wasted for jerk turkey wings with rice and peas because not only was it inauthentic, it tasted like a days old leftovers. If you love Jamaican food this is not the restaurant for you...find a better restaurant if you want good tasting food.

The women who works here (she has a cursive name necklace but I couldn’t make out the name) is SO rude! I liked this place but after the service we received this week I won’t be back.I see SEVERAL other recent reviews referring to the customer service of whom I’m assuming is the same women with the disgraceful attitude. The other workers who I used to interact with were nice. Such a shame to have a rude and unprofessional employee sink a business.You would think our existence (customers) and me spending my money in this business was an inconvenience to her.Come on people … we have to do better.
Tried this restaurant for the first time. Ordered the jerk wings (comes with rice and peas, cabbage and fried plantains). The jerk wings had a taste that I could not recognize and not what I am accustomed to in jerk seasoning. The rice and peas was just ok. Wish the food was better. Really wanted jerk pork which they did not have. Wish I could give a better rating but there are too many options for Jamaican food in the area for this restaurant not to hit it out of the park.

Good food....but the day time lady before 2 is super rude and she's usually alone even in the owner or maybe she is and thats why she feel she can be rude so theres no one checking her.. every time I've gone and shes there the prices are different HOW.....The younger girl middle of day till closing has great customer service skillsJamaican restaurant women workers are known to be rude that's why there's memes all over social media..but dayum can we kill that sterotype as a people its not cute...Good food though..whiting fried fish is salty though but great food

It's a humble mom and pop establishment. Walked in the door I was greeted. All of the food was labeled and immediately recognizable. It was quiet and smelled delicious.The turkey is smoky a little bit of spice and delicious. The cabbage is good if you love garlic, which I do when I have goat meat sauce drizzled on my peas and rice. I have to try it again to make sure it wasn't a fluke .
