Stumbled upon this FINE DINING while looking for something close to the house. Walked in and the aroma of the food being cooked gave me a feeling of happiness ?. Got the dinner for 2, chicken, steak, and shrimp with fried rice. The chef was amazing. Great conversation while he cooked. He handled his business. Met a great family while dining. My family & I visit UMI often , but this was by far my best experience. Jay the chef was very entertaining and the food was Perfect!!! I definitely will be back to see Mr Jay and for the great atmosphere.
I ordered the TD Roll which was pretty good I would recommend, and I also ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi I was VERY disappointed with the servings size they gave me 4 pieces of vegetables and the waiter said he would charge me for a side if I needed more. However when you get served in front of the hibachi chef you get proportional sizes of food. That really annoyed me because he recognized that I was shorted and did nothing about it.
