“My friend and I were driving through Thomaston and wanted to grab some food, so we stopped downtown and asked a local boutique worker where to eat in town and the immediately said to try English's. We tried the scrambled burger and just a normal hot dog for our meal and then for dessert we did a strawberry freezer pie and their chocolate truffle. I am pretty sure that's what they were called! All the food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Planning on coming back foe sure!”

“We had a child's birthday gathering with several families attending. There is plenty of space for the activities. The food was delicious & was served fast for them to be busy. A very family place to have kids. They have some arcade machines for kids to play.”

“Face it - there's not many seafood options around middle GA. This one is good! If you want to get your fix go grab some fresh oysters or Gulf Shrimp. Grab a beer. Relax and enjoy. This place isn't fancy, it's not supposed to be. If you blink, you'll miss it, but the locals know about it. Service can be a little on the slower side, but just relax and enjoy it because it's worth it to get quality seafood. Owners are friendly too.”

“We always eat catfish and it is delicious! We were told by another restaurant owner/manager that next time we went to Riverbend to try the steaks. Last night we both ordered steaks and were we surprised, very good, cooked just right, yummy!”

“I took my mom out to dinner and was very pleased with the service of the staff and the taste of the food. I ate about 3 nice sized plates and my stomach was full and happy. The buffet is a great place to get some good food whether you are dining in or ordering takeout. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and the food is kept fresh, no need to worry about dried out heat lamped food as the staff does a great job of refreshing all of the food.Parking: The parking lot is in a shopping center, plenty of parking .Kid-friendliness: This is a kid friendly restaurant and they provide kid friendly meal options(French fries and such).Wheelchair accessibility: Small curb that a wheel chair can easily go over or a ramp that can a wheel chair can go. Some tables inside can easily accommodate a person in a wheelchair.”

“I HAVE BEEN EATING AT PIGGIE PARK SINCE THEY WERE SOUTH OF TOWN. THEY HAVE AGOOD SELECTION OF FOOD. IF YOU COME THROUGH THOMASTON I WOULD ADVISE YOU TO STOP AND FILL YOUR BELLY UP. CAN NOT GO WRONG.”
