Fresh hot malasadas! Nothing better than deep fried dough and Leonard's has perfected it.

It's my favorite malasadas that I must have when coming to Hawaii. Make it fresh to order, but it takes some time to have the order ready. They could have expedited the process by having them cook in advance since every morning is busy. I take a star off because I waited 20 minutes for my order compared with the one at the outlet mall, which is precooked for order.

Amazing! Love us some malasadas and the service is really good as well!
Malasada under cooked and overall poor representation of a Malasada and no it was not busy...perhaps a bad day. Will try again...

Leonard’s is the best! My favorites are the plain, custard, and cinnamon. This truck has some tables to eat at too.Parking: It’s at the mall, so there’s lots of parking.
Hands down, the very best malasadas we have had on the islands. These golden nuggets of joy were served piping hot and in record time.It was a bucket list item to try a Leonard's malasada after reading they were the best, and the reviews didn't steer me wrong. They are indeed the most delicious. We are purists and generally don't get filling. That way, we can get a good flavor of the dough and its texture. The thing about malasadas is that you must eat them hot. That is when they are at their peak. After they are cool, they become more of a donut, and I can see where the filling may become enjoyable. My suggestion is to buy a box of six. Two to eat right away (they are small and you are probably on vacation) and four filled for a travel treat later on. We love cinnamon sugar and the le hing flavors. Le hing is a powder made from dried plums. It is sweet, tangy, and very unique.Parking: It is a food truck in a shopping plaza. Plenty of parking.

Really didn't live up to the hype. Tasted like a fresh doughnut full of Jello brand pudding. I was expecting homemade custard.
If you’re on the island, make sure you make a pit stop for a toasty, made to order, hot malasada. My go-to is the cinnamon sugar!Parking: Usually busy, but they do have their own lot
