Tons of options!Good service: quick and accurate. My food is always made as-ordered.They don’t deny a second scoop of butter, which I appreciate.
I enjoy eating here as they have generous portions and always serves quality food. I ordered online this morning a little after 10 am. After paying I got confirmation and it said that a text message was sent to my phone with my receipt. I got a bit worried as the text message from their vendor with my receipt took a little long to send. I also noticed that it didn't give me a pick up time which I thought was odd. Even while ordering there was no selection or indicator of a pick up time. I assumed it would be at the end like other restaurants. It has now been well over 30 minutes and my food isn't ready. I'm quite disappointed. As convenient as it is to order online I wish they would be more upfront on how long it'll take for the food to be prepared. This waiting guessing game is ridiculous, especially if you're trying to feed kids. Had I known it was going to take this long I would have went elsewhere. And to be kind, I do understand it's Sunday and it's busy. In the end it took 40 minutes for my food. I've could have planned better had I known of the wait time. UPDATE- at 2:00 pm I get a text message from their online ordering service that my order is ready for pickup. Their system does seem to have potential. Maybe over time It'll get better.
I was so hungry after a long day of work and have been thinking about chicken and waffles for quite some time. There was no line so I decided to get takeout. The menu is pretty extensive, more than just pancakes and waffles. They had benedicts, burgers, crepes and loco mocks. I ordered honey butter chicken and waffles. The chicken was perfectly crispy, perfect ratio of meat and batter. The waffle was also crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I only ate half and was so full. It was a pretty big portion for $13. My sister got the bacon burger and said it was super good, the burger tasted fresh and the bun was good too for $13. We will be making our way back to try the other items... possibly the mochi waffles or churro waffles or crab benedict... yum yum.
Food was decent. Limited seating due the pandemic but would recommend. Staff was very nice and kept the dining area clean.
The pancakes have no flavor and the bacon is very chewy i do not recommend this place
We stayed at the Hilton village, everything around there was super expensive and catered to the tourists palette. It was nice to take a drive and eat at a more local spot. Bomb food and better on the wallet
Was surprised they offered more than their name sake. Food selection was good and tasted great. Prices pretty reasonable. Due to covid they have a very limited space to dine in so we did take out.
Went for breakfast takeout. The fried rice was good, it had a lot of different things in it. The corned beef hash was surprisingly good. Very tasty. The French toast was cooked perfectly, not soggy. It was also made from sweet bread, which made it just right. The waffle was the perfect size. The combination with the strawberries and whipped cream made it sweet enough that you didn't need the syrup.
Delicious food, extensive menu, and fair prices. The crab cake Benedict actually beats Cinnamons Kailua's by a large margin. Huge chunks of crab and generous helpings of hollandaise sauce. Hidden gem.
Sweet Baby Jesus, I asked for the small size!! Come hungry and expect to be satisfied. Absolutely delicious local food and a very welcoming atmosphere .
Everyone was nice but, towards the end of my meal I noticed two strains of hair in my box. The bacon tastes bad, and was definitely not worth $6. When I get breakfast, bacon is a must have. But in this case I'd rather not. The taste lingered in my mouth and ruined my morning. Would not come here again. Had high hopes :(
Been to this place twice and won"t be coming back. The first time I came the service was horrible and the food came out cold. I really love waffles and for a late morning place to eat this is about the only spot so we thought we would give it another try. Our second time the service was even worse than the first. So many girls at the counter but only one taking orders. The tables were all full because Iof the Covid rules so I asked to be on the waiting list which was fine for me, but then she said we had to order and pay for our food which I was okay with as well. I asked what if the food got done before our table was ready and they said I could take it to go. I said I didn't want to take it to go and I didn't want my food to get Cold so I asked if I could just order and pay for it and when a table came ready they could put our order in. I was informed they don't do it that way. I explained to them again I was willing to pay and wait for the table and she told me do I want to do it their way or not. So we waited because a table cleared out, I told them to make sure that the waffles were hot because the last time they came Cold. Well Believe it or not they came Cold again.... Done with this place, would not waste my time or money coming here again.
Really great! I had chorizo Benedict. Really yummy. I didn't post pictures because even in this pandemic they were busy. With limited seating i wanted to eat and go so others could fine in. So worth checking it out & the food is great,!
Had an enjoyable dine in experience at Pancakes & Waffles in the Waimalu Plaza Shopping Center. The Menu includes Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Cooks and Cashiers were friendly and helpful. My Hamburger Steak plate was tasty and delicious.
