Went here as a last minute dinner with a friend. The restaurant has a few tables to eat there as well as take out. I got the green curry which was on par with most Thai places. They didn't skimp on the chicken which I liked. We also got the fried tofu satay which was a first for me. It was ok, but this was coated with a batter(?) and not directly fried where the outside was crispy. My friend got the Gang Pa as something different. It had a lot of vegetables, but I didn't like the taste of the sauce. Never having tried that before, I can't tell if that's how it was supposed to taste. For me it was a good place, but I'll stick with the tried and true.

First time trying this place and ordered the gang pa without coconut. Liked the vast amount of vegetables but the sauce was a bit off for me. Also ordered the fried tofu appetizer and it was okay. My friend had the green curry which he really enjoyed. Service was quick. Ambiance casual. They don't provide water in cups, only if you buy the $1 bottle

Panang curry was by far the best curry I’ve ever had.

The calamari and noodles were delicious. The calamari was probably my favorite dish with a good amount of batter and flavorful dipping sauce. The tom yum was also enjoyable. Didn't care too much for the tofu satay. I mean the tofu was fine but definitely didn't care for the dipping sauces.

Zip lock bags offered as Togo bags. 50 cents for a styrophoam to go box. Signs posted to discourage you from asking for a Togo box. Who wants to store liquid Thai curry in a BPA (poisonous chemical) enriched ziplock bag. We asked for water and where told you have to buy a bottle of water. Food was good but nothing special.

We had the chicken basil and duck noodle soup. Both were good. No free water though, you have to buy a bottle of water.

Coming back from Pearl Harbor museum, this place was a great surprise. It's not big on ambiance and sits in a strip mall kinda place but everything we ordered was great! The Tom Kha soup was really good (although kinda salty which happens to be the theme of this island I guess). The fish cakes had no egg which was perfect and they were delicious! The pineapple fried rice was good. Next time I will order their curries.

Delicious! We ordered Chicken Satae, Tom Yum soup with Shrimp and Green Curry with chicken. Everything was amazing! Service was friendly and quick.

I've had a lot of pad kee mow (drunken noodle) around the world and this wasn't it. The meat was supposed to be chicken but it was ground up so I'm not sure what it really was. It had a few pieces of lettuce to absorb the grease but otherwise no veggies to complement the dish like every other Thai restaurant does. I ordered this because of the high ratings but I'm not convinced.
Enjoyed a lunch with shrimp pad Thai and fish patties as an appetizer. Tasty overall, though shrimp was a bit bland. Service was good, but the restroom and back alley had an unpleasant smell, which was disappointing.

Small Thai place close to Pearl Harbor memorial. The lady who served us was very courteous and accommodated our vegetarian and vegan dietary restrictions. Service time was pretty quick and food tasted good. Reasonable price compared to Honolulu or Waikiki. Parking was a bit hard to find since it is a part of crowded Asian market place. Exterior is filled with Asian food shops if interested in shopping. Must try Thai iced tea. We liked it so much we even took one to-go.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian substitutions and customizable menu.Parking: Limited parking . Could get crowded during peak hours.

Updated my rating higher. Tookout chili basil with chicken and pork with ong choy. Haven't ordered these in awhile. Placed the order for a family member. I must say, the portion improved. The serving is much more than before. The chili basil comes with a serving of Jasmin rice. The bowl of the pork and choy was generously filled and it's a big container. I got to taste the pork and ong choy. It has a flavor of its own compared to the Chinese way. The taste wasn't real strong but worth trying if you like ong choy. There was the same gal at the counter. Her name is Lynn. I mentioned her mannerism, that lately she isn't as cheerful as I once remember. She said there's a lot going on in her head trying to get the orders right. I used to think she was being rude but that's not the case. She probably doesn't realize how her mood affects the business and customers. Looks like business has picked up at this place. The food IS tasty! Prices are about right and portions improved. They're located in the Waimalu Shopping Center. I noticed a difference in their dinning area. There's more privacy when dining. Each of the tables were shielded by tall dividers.

Lately I've been on a thai tea obsession so I decided to do takeout since there needs to be a balance with the sweetness. I decided to skip our usual spot and try Thai Cuisine Express. I've seen it for years but never bother to check it out. Their menu is similar to other Thai restaurants in the area. I ordered the red curry with chicken, pad thai with tofu, sticky rice, and of course thai tea. First of all I shocked with the amount of food it came with. I was thinking it was going to be individual portions but it's definitely shareable. The food overall was great. I really enjoyed their pad thai as it was so flavorful. The curry had a nice kick to it and it came with a great amount of vegetables and chicken. Overall I would do take out again. It's definitely cheaper compared to other Thai restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable due the portion and taste. Their thai tea was delicious as well. Service was really friendly and fast. If you're looking for fast and reasonably priced Thai food, I would definitely give it a chance.
