The process to get in threw us. Kinda strange, but once we got in, it was awesome. All you can eat and you get your choice of whatever meets and they keep bringing it to you until you explode or an hour passes. Everything was excellent. Way tasty.

They seated parties that signed in after us even when the restaurant was empty. Floor was super slippery because there was so much oil on the ground. Charged $8 for lettuce. Had a forced 20% gratuity. The meat was pretty decent but everything else was terrible.

Everytime I pass this place there is a line. This particular l9cation is situated in the Waimalu shopping center (City mill..safeway etc).well I now know why it always looks crowded.....its because they only allow a very limited amount of people inside at a time.....we was there around 11:30 am on a weekday and they told us we had to wait....hmmm thinking it would be packed inside (we had to check invia cr code) but had a peek inside and tbere was about 10 tables but only 3 or 4 was occupied....maybe they were short staffed (Like every place nowdays) or its a strategy to make them always look busy...hmmm who knows..They have this special lunch deal for $20.00 (I guess only during lunch hours) 13 select meats and dinner is 23 select meats $29.95.This is one of those places where you pick your meats (4 selections at a time) and cook it yourself..it also comes with unlimited korean small dishes of vegetables and (I think unlimited) rice tooOhh and pitchers of sort of cold water (no ice) .The insides is airconditioned with wooden tables and chairs. Not sure if had in house bathroom.The staff is accomodating and will come by now and then to change your grills and take orders (look down!! there is oil on the ground spilling out the grill so be careful)SIKDORAK Iis Comparable to Gen (same type of cook your own kind of restaurant) A pretty good Value for what it is. A good option if you down to grind....

We came later in the evening, wait time was about 40 minutes. After we were seated we waited about 10 minutes before someone came to take our order. I don't think I would've been as annoyed about the wait if I didn't see one of the servers constantly dancing/twerking instead of helping customers. Once we got our food everything was fine. The employee that was changing out the grills was amazing we must've gotten our changed out like 5 times. Ventilation could use some work though, I don't think those suction hoses work cause the entire room was smoke our entire meal.
I like the cucumber kimchi, but I prefer regular kimchi.... I definitely love the kimchi soup and cheese corn. But the floor is slippery, and the vents seem kind of dirty. Kinda wished they brought back the one you can easily lift it up or down. If you like meat, then this place isn't vegetarian paradise... except for ordering the lettuces leaves, which frankly have an extra charge to them even though it seems so little ?. I love this place, but hopefully, my opinion matters. I recommend trying the spicy octopus and their bulgogi.
The food portions are way too small, I understand it is AYCE and they had to control quantities, but 5 strips of thin meat as a dish for a table of 5 grown adults is ridiculous. the waiter came back twice and asked if we were ready for checks even though we were still trying to order. We ended up leaving the place not full because they gave us the check before we said we were done ordering/eating. (we went to another place after for more food because we were still hungry)

Sikdorak is one of my favorite Korean BBQ restaurants. Their menu isn't too overwhelming and they got steamed egg(which most KBBQ places don't have) and the cheesy corn Now, I would rate this restaurant a 5 stars if it wasn't for how horrible the customer service was. Our server sounded so bored and quiet and it seems like it was a burden trying to serve us. She wasn't very attentive either. Our grill had burnt about twice and didnt even change it until it was too late. I'll probably come back hoping the service is better but I'd rather just make the drive to Kaneohe or town.
During my Hawaii vacation, I told my friends that I wanted to try a KBBQ place that we didn't have in the mainland. We ended up here at Sikdorak!On the outside, it's blacked out. You can't see inside the restaurant, and they prefer if you don't wait inside. So my friend put her name and number down and they texted us when they were ready.Holy crap. The service is QUICK. They are always ready to refill on anything you may need, drinks, meats, wanna order sides? They're ready. Which is really nice. I don't feel like you see a KBBQ place with such great customer service.I do wish their meat selections had a little bit more beef. My friends focused a lot on the pork belly, but I didn't really see much on the menu that I liked.We had the seafood pancake which was delicious! We also ordered the steamed egg, a little salty, but still good. I would skip on the sides though. I would definitely come back here again whenever I visit!
