This place was fun, the more traditional kinda place, most guests I assume kinda choose their own seats, as I saw while eating. My brudda and I though came when most booths were full except one, the no.4 booth. This booth was open for a reason but it didnt bother us, Kanakas loves the number 4. Besides being given the death table the service was fine, short and dry because neither of us speak Cantonese yet. The food, broke da mouth. The crispy gau gee is the biggest in Hawaii and amazing. The almond shrimp, automatic , worth the stop even with the death table.

Always a great place for chinese food. They have the typical menu that locals love. This place makes the largest crispy gau gee's on the island. So delicious.

The 1963 I worked at waimalo chop suey. I worked for Mr Young who's no longer alive and his son so the business. I've been away for 28 years so today my nephew said we're going to Waimea for lunch and we did. Food was good I enjoyed it workers were friendly we talked about when I was working there. Just the place inside is not the same it was prettier when I was working there. All rightVegetarian options: I'm saying vegetarian only because all you need to do is get the vegetables and sauteed.. Chinese restaurants have a lot of vegetables so it's easy to make something veganParking: We went there on a Saturday so because of all the restaurants there parking lot was filled. Nice woman was leaving and she pointed to the area where her car was so we were able to get a parking right away.Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant, they have high chairsWheelchair accessibility: Lots of tables to put wheelchairs up against

My brother order gaugee on Friday 12/22 to pick up 12/24. When he went to pick up they told him they told him not ready gotta wait. He waited over an hour and it still wasn't ready. This was disappointing as we did not get what we ordered for our gathering.

This rate is for dashers, the wait time is trash. They care about customers that come pick up, rather than online orders for us to bring to customers.

Worst orange chicken I have ever had… honey walnut prawns were good though. Chicken tasted like it was snake meat or something… tough and stringy from the first bite to the last.

Don’t demand tips, it’s my money and I’ll spend it how I see fit. Lady at the counter was complaining she didn’t get a tip. Never going back

Good food and prices. Dinner plate was a deal at 11$. My wonton soup was big and full of meaty wontons and greens. Very impressed. Will be back. Fast service too.
