My buffalo chix sandwich was so vinegary I almost couldn't eat it, but my friend had a loco moco that looked delicious, with a side of mac salad. She liked hers, i did NOT like mine! Always nice to go and eat semioutdoors there though, they have a covered dining area with a view of the Hilo streets.
Been here for 4 days and this is the best food on the island. Hubby had fish n chips. Both were crispy and tasty. I had delicious yakatori chicken with spot on Mac salad. Going back for moco loco and dessert

I really like this restaurant and if I go to Hilo again I will definitely go here, I ordered the Moco Loco's one with the pork patty and then the other with bacon, They can put the egg on top either scrambled or sunny side up, The dish also comes with a side salad, They offer two different sizes I ordered the small which is plenty of food/ the location is in the heart of Hilo, It's a very old building it's an old place, They offer a lot of different traditional Hawaiian common...read full review
