Great, friendly place to grab a quick lunch before exploring. We got the Chef's special fish, macaroni salad and white rice. Simple, fresh tasting food and they gave us free water.
Hidden little fast food place in Hilo. Quality real food at decent prices. Ordered their fish & chips and finished the entire plate. For $12, I got real potato fries (not the frozen french fries most other places give you), salad, and three pieces of fish. The portion is small though, was barely enough to make me full. Overall, this place is pretty good if you want a quick meal. I also noticed that they bake their own bread, which is pretty impressive.

A hole-in-the-wall atmosphere with very good food, plenty of it, and very fair pricing, especially when you consider the area they are in. We had the Korean plate and would recommend that anyone else get it, too! Only four stars because it is pretty steamy in the dining area (need more fans or some A/C). The staff are pleasant and helpful.
