Located at Ala Moana Mall, Bubba Gumps is easy to find and parking was no issue at all. I was pleasantly suprised that lines were non existent and that we were seated right away. The restraunt was clean and the open air seating area offered great ocean views. I was disappointed that they only offered a reduced menu consisting of only several dishes. Sad to see another establishment close and an unsuccessful attempt to renew the lease. Last day today 2.23.2020. This was the only Bubba Gump establishment on island. I never bothered to watch the show so I was unfamiliar with the lingo and decor. But from what I remember during my one and only visit because I got the memo late, food was sub par but no complaints about the service. Although I wish I got a souvenir cup as a collectible item..

I liked the creative way that they wanted diners to get the attention of a server because the signs mean that your meal doesn't have to come to a halt while you look for someone to assist you. You can flip it and continue a conversation, content in the knowledge that someone will respond once they see it. Anyway, the food was all right and the portions were generous (I remember thinking the whole head of lettuce went into my salad).
