Founded in 1972 by Alvin C. Copeland,its original name was "Chicken On The Bun". Later changed to "Popeyes Mighty Good Chicken", the name pays homage to the character Jimmy "Popeye" Doyle in the 1971 movie, "The French Connection", not from the comic/cartoon character. Had it 2x. It was OK. Second time when I ordered mac N cheese they only gave about 3 tbl spoons, what a joke. Not sure if they know what spicy is or if they just screwed up my order...but the chicken was bland.

We have been a regular here for several years. We had an issue at the very beginning, years ago. Now the manager Marivic, takes amazing care of us. Some how she remembers our most liked foods.The location does have turnover, however they continue to do a great job for fast food.
