Not a posh and visually appealing place. But the Chinese food we tried here was to die for. House spl fried rice, oxtail soup and noodles, salty short ribs (not sure the name is correct), pot sticklers all were really yummy ? ??

I ordered the chicken katsu w/walnut shrimp mixed plate combo, it was so good. The chicken katsu was crispy and didn’t taste like it came out of a box in the freezer. They give you a nice size katsu sauce that is plenty extra. The walnut shrimp was very delicious. The mac salad was good too. It was my first time coming to eat in here, definitely will not be my last. I came here really hungry, and I am leaving very happy. The service was great too. Mahalo Rainbow Cafe.
