Food temperature and portion was perfect! Our server was very knowledgeable and polite and came to check up on us in a timely manner. “This food truck dishes out what I consider authentic Hawaiian fare. They have Lau Lau steamed pig meat wrapped in a leaf and shredded Kālua pig meat. “We always sit at the bar and get good service and love the atmosphere; but it seems there is always a bit of delay in the kitchen. Wish the nachos would come out better here, but by the time we get them, the cheese on top always seems to be cold and chips are soggy/kinda gross.“
“So yummy! They have the best cornbread I can remember. We had the market beef and it was huge enough to share, which left room for appetizers. The main dish doesn't come with any side dishes, but the pupu's and cornbread were enough with the steak.“
“We went here for my spouse's birthday dinner. Upon walking in, one hostess was exceptional with a birthday greeting, and we were excited. The live music was amazing, and we had a great table right by it. Cocktails were spectacular and I loved the drink menu... bar staff was was excellent. My spouse got the Chinese-style mahi mahi, and it had incredible flavor! I ordered the rib eye; while cooked well, it was mostly fat unfortunately and I enjoyed the mahi mahi much more. Service was pretty good although I would've appreciated the server just acknowledging my spouse's birthday.“
“I have been here several times over the past year for "high tea." It is always amazing, from the food & service to the beautiful ocean and courtyard views. We celebrated our anniversary with friend from out of state and everything was wonderful. We all chose the Moana Classic Tea with finger sandwiches, sweet offerings, tropical sorbet and tea (we each chose a different flavor). A few of my favorites (this time) were the Ratatouille Tart and the Smoked Salmon Mousse Blini, but I really enjoyed them all.Our friend has a food allergy and our server was very accommodating. He made other suggestions to some of the sandwiches and all of the "exchanges" were fabulous. Each time we have been, the menu has changed, although most of the tea's are the same flavors (only 2 or 3 have changed). The quality of the food is the same (5 stars)I would definitely suggest Moana Surfer Rider - The Veranda at the Beachhouse for all of your special occasions.Parking: The Valet parking is free with validation of "High Tea" service. Otherwise, there is parking across the street at International Market Place garage (I am not sure what the current rates are).“

The service was amazing and super friendly, Jonathon did a fantastic job going through the menu and treating us very well. The food was INSANELY delicious. “A good friend of mine and I meet for lunch once a month. I've only been to Merriman's for dinner and had a great experience. Lunch proved to be just as good an experience. I ordered the prime roast beef sandwich and didn't expect it to be exactly like prime rib, so it was a little too raw for me. I asked the server if he could ask the kitchen to make it medium or medium well and within a few short minutes, he brought it back perfectly made. It was really good and the rosemary fries were out of this world! The service was outstanding with continuous refills of iced tea and water, and the atmosphere relaxing and quiet! Would definitely go back! =)“
“Was originally supposed to eat somewhere else’s but we r glad we ended up coming to this place. Overall it was great truly the Aloha Spirit thrives in there! We ended up in the pay it forward chain where ppl ended up up paying for our food and that just made our day, ofc we paid it forward to another familia. From the food to the phenomenal customer service, the live local entertainment that my 2yr old got up and danced to lol. It had to have been one of the best experiences we had living in this island! 100/10 recomend.Kid-friendliness: High chairs, small kids plate, bowls, and utensils.
