Thank you for helping me with my daughter's wedding. The service was good.

We love going here and have enjoyed everything about it for many years! The lagoon is perfect for swimming or just relaxing on a float with no waves! Both restaurants are delicious and the market place is great! Our 2 bedroom suites are wonderful and ours was just newly redecorated & painted with new carpet and furniture!!! The gardens are gorgeous all over the resort, too! Finally, the 3 pools are all wonderful as are the many hot tubs! The staff is excellent and very friendly as well!!!

We checked in yesterday looking forward to quiet and relaxation after spending a week in Waikiki. The resort is beautiful and we got up to our room only to see we were over the kids pool with no ocean view. I called down to the front desk and was told there were no ocean views available, sorry buts that’s what we paid for. Oh well we were moved to another building where it was quieter on the end of the kids pool but still no ocean view. Very disappointed. Will not stay at a Marriott again as they do not deliver what you paid for. I have attached a photo of my reservation showing our room with the view and a photo of what we got. Bad deal for us.

We are here right now and honestly not impressed. It’s not worth the money. The rooms are dated and the customer service hasn’t been great. If you aren’t a Marriott vacation club member, they treat you pretty terribly. Don’t expect to get a good room with a view. And Marriott status means absolutely nothing. I think there are better places to stay on the island.

I’ve never had such a difficult time finding a place to sit around a pool. Even when I’d come down to the pols at 7:30am they’ve all been saved. Try again at 11:30am thinking people have moved or left, no chairs available. Several days we had to pay $74 to rent tented chairs on the beach. They charge $40+ for an umbrella with chairs and many days those are even sold out. The beach activities staff guy is rude and indifferent. They don’t set up the chairs or bring you towels. They can’t seem to be bothered. The rooms are pretty worn down and tired. There are two restaurants on property otherwise you can walk down two to three lagoons to the four season’s restaurant or Disney property. There’s nice live music in the evenings at Longboards on-site. I was very grateful for Sommer at checkin. She was very efficient and nice and let us Checkin early. Lots of organized activities for guests to do.

We are owners at Ko Olina and just returned from an 8 day stay and although we enjoyed being in Hawaii and the warm weather, our stay at the MVC just wasn't as good as previous years. I guess that's because our room was filthy, necessitating my wife doing a complete deep cleaning before we even unpacked. Then, on the day that we had housekeeping, they made the bed (no clean linen), dropped off fresh towels, toiletries and replenished the coffee/tea, straightened a few things on the table and the pillows on the sofa, put the dishes in the dishwasher and emptied the trash. That was it. The stove wasn't touched (even though there were oatmeal splatters on the stovetop), the body wash in the shower wasn't replaced (it was empty), the carpet wasn't vacuumed and the floor in the kitchen still had crumbs (which were highlighted by the sunshine) and was sticky. Needless to say, housekeeping is now clearly a problem and something that we have never experienced in previous years. In addition, there were other details that were clearly missing. There was no Welcome program on the main lawn for owners and guests and the menu of daily activities for both adults and children has been extremely trimmed down compared to previous years. It just didn't feel the same and not in a good way. Considering the exorbitant maintenance fees, every guest should expect that the rooms and common areas throughout the property will be clean and sanitary and that there will be a multitude of activities to choose from during their stay. This was always the case before the pandemic, and while I understand the cutbacks during the height of COVID, we're past that point.

As a titanium elite Marriott member and chairman member in Marriott vacation club, we have stayed at a multitude of Marriott properties and am an owner at Ko Olina. Having stayed at this property multiple times, I was shocked to see the deterioration of the accommodations. Upon check-in for our 7 day stay in our two bedroom suite which was supposed to be an ocean view high floor, it was disappointing to be assigned a low floor with a view of the kiddie pool, not what was reserved. The room was filthy. The carpet was badly stained, the kitchen counters were dirty, the kitchen cabinets were badly chipped and worn and the drawers were filled with crumbs and obviously had not been cleaned. The floors were sticky and the door into the suite was covered with hand prints. Besides needing to be thoroughly cleaned, the rooms are in desperate need of refurbishment. Very disappointing.

**VALET PARKING***only review. The restaurant experience today on Christmas was five stars and the waitress was wonderful!! --We live here locally in Hawaii and our favorite thing to do is go for special occasions out to eat at Longhi's at Marriott. Usually we take my convertible BMW to eat there. We pulled up to the valet, where there were a few people there in the kiosk. They usually come right out. We were in our PRIUS not luxury car this time. We didn't see any movement from the staff which was odd today, so we circled around to see if there was somewhere else we maybe we're supposed to park. We circle back in the small circle to valet again and as we do, two cars-- a Ferrari and a Tesla pull up and the people get out and get immediate assistance. I have never felt so judged and insulted by valet at Marriott before. --We were ready to give a generous tip to the Valet, but as we saw they avoided us --we had to ask for help--(as we weren't in a luxury vehicle this time??).... So the takeaway is if we come here I need to bring the expensive convertible I guess. I spoke to the manager. Hope this isn't the new norm.

Wonderful stay at the Marriott Ko’olina. We’ve stayed several times over the years. We stayed in a studio facing the mountains and pool area. The staff is pleasant and attentive. Although there isn’t daily housekeeping, the staff will promptly bring you anything you need via text and accurately. Our tub was not draining properly and the maintenance staff rectified fairly quickly. We had a plug in car and was able to find a charger available in every garage. There are only two i’m each garage. If the charging stalls are all full, you can ask to use the valet’s charging station at no extra cost. The pools were clean and we were able to use the temporary locker keys to be able to change and wash up before our flight. Always a relaxing time at Ko’olina. Close proximity to the other lagoons and hotels/hotel restaurant make for an enjoyable stay.

This resort is outstanding. I don’t understand the bad reviews. We were in a recently renovated room and we love the renovations. Very modern and spotless. The grounds are among the nicest I’ve ever seen. Landscaping, gardens, pools, beach all top notch. We snorkeled in lagoon 2 which was better than our lagoon 3. But swimming here is great. There is a current so be careful with little ones if you go out far. We didn’t eat in the restaurants because we went to Monkey Pod twice and bought food at Costco and food land. We love to cook and eat on our balcony. We had an ocean front room on the 2nd floor of Naia building which was beautiful. Parking in the garage was easy. The pull out couch is made by American leather and very comfortable. We checked out the Four Seasons and the Disney Aulani. Our lagoon is nicer and less busy. Disney Aulani is way too big and of course, designed for kids. Too noisy and crowded for us.

In an area surrounded by expensive resort restaurants with mediocre food options, this little cafe is like a foodie oasis, offering a thoughtful menu with freshly prepared dishes using quality ingredients. They make everything to order and is easily the best lunch option you will find at Lagoon 1. Located inside the wedding chapel, just follow the stairs up from the beach and you'll find a little shop offering canned drinks, snacks, desserts and freshly prepared plate lunches, salads and sandwiches. They also have a few tables spread out on the patio in front, which I noticed was surprisingly peaceful while I was waiting for my order. The lagoons at Ko Olina are certainly beautiful, but spending the day there with your kids can be an exhausting exercise. So it's nice to know that there is at least one restaurant dishing out freshly prepared food without the exorbitant resort prices. This really is the definition of a hidden gem.

The staff was kind and the rice was delicious? The omelet rice was the most delicious omelet rice I've ever had in America. It was an omelet rice with Japanese demi-glace sauce I went there for the mango shave ice cream, but unfortunately it was sold out around 3 o'clock on the weekend

Unfortunately they have closed their doors for food service recently.

We arrived on Saturday the 2nd and checked in around 4:30. We were greeted by Jerrissa Anne. She was simply amazing. It was the easiest check in to a vacation club we've ever had. She is informative, kind, and professional. I hope they have a lot more of her on staff. Then Shannon the bellcap helped us with our huge amount of bags and groceries. There were 6 of us in 2 rooms. He even provided us a list of nearby restaurants. (he is such an asset). We had an oceanview studio in Hale Na'ia and a 2 bedroom. The rooms were well appointed, we were missing a few items and maintenance quickly responded. We tried to shop at Costco but it was full combat in the parking lot. So we headed to Safeway. Sunday we were the pool bright and early and got great seats. The pool security team were so professional and amazing. Shantel especially was kind and helpful. We utilized the poolside servers daily and enjoyed drinks and food. The fish tacos, nachos and ahi tuna melt were a hit! The concierge recommended a nearby sunset cruise on Hawaii Nautical. It was the highlight of our trip. The local crew were awesome. Some folks in our group attended the Tuesday nite luau and we also had massages at Spa by the Sea. Laura was my therapist. It was life changing. Book a massage with her! We met a few ambassadors, such as Jade and Laura. I wish all resorts had ambassadors to talk thru things, answer questions and be so positive. After the weekend crowds left Tuesday morning the pool was so peaceful. Our friends snorkeled and saw turtles and angel fish. The pool was cleaned daily, the resort is so beautiful. If you haven't visited I say BOOK IT Today. we will be back.

We just returned from 8 fabulous nights at Marriott's KoOlina Beach Club. We are timeshare owners at this resort, and each time we return we fall more in love with this resort. We had such an amazing ocean view villa in the Hale Nai'a Tower. This resort offers so much beauty all throughout the property. The lagoons are beautiful, the ponds, water features are just beautiful also. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. We reserved chairs/umbrellas at the beach a few days. There were also plenty of chairs at the beach that did not require a rental, which we enjoyed those as well. There are many pools to choose from that suit your specific needs, relaxation or activities. We love the live music at Longboards. We did dine at Longhi's one night and the view and food were excellent. We used the grills this year for the first time and I must say this was a very relaxing experience. The area is nice and cleaned daily, with new utensils each day. We had a rental car and self-parking was a breeze. We appreciate the new key card method which ensures each guest a parking space. The workout room was nice, clean and offered all the equipment needed for a good workout. The marketplace is a delight to visit. KoOlina is a great location as well. Close enough to all the action if you choose to drive in, but a secluded and relaxing resort. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Overall, we had the most positive experience at our lovely home resort. Highly recommend for families, couples, friends, etc. This is a resort for everyone to enjoy! Mahalo!
