The food was great. The ambience was comfy and cozy. Nicely done interiors. Having dinner next to a koi pond was unbeatable. The service was superb. Very attentive. Disney quality as expected and more. Didn't disappoint.
Trying to be fair, Our first night we ate at Ama Ama. And when you compare the 2 they don't come close.. Ama Ama is fine dining at its best .While dinner at Makahiki is more along the lines of a Lone Star, good food a family friendly place wit7h great service and we left stuffed, lots of food the portions of the 3 course prefix menu are huge. Had we ate here first, before Ama Ama we would have been head over heels about the place, but Ama Ama is heads above Makahiki, but still...read full review

We did the character breakfast last week. Great experience. Kids had a blast. All of our food was delicious. The loco moco was the best I have ever had. We had dinner a few days later. Another wonderful meal. The salmon was amazing.
