Went in hoping to get something to cool off but there's a sign at the cashier that says "Menchies is closing on August 31st". This location will close. Not sure about anywhere else. They only had 3 flavors available; Watermelon, chocolate, and Vanilla.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Many flavors and toppings to choose from.

Wow! My family loves Menchie's. They have a delicious variety of flavors & toppings. I appreciate their customer service which is friendly, polite & professional. Also, great location.

I haven't had Menchies in about 10 years (I've always went to the old Ward Warehouse location). The Kapolei location very limited in flavors of frozen yogurt (Snowed Vanilla, Chocolate Malt, Tart Vanilla, and Strawberry). I tried the Snowed vanilla and the taste and flavor wasn't what expected. No taste of vanilla at all...not worth it.

There frozen yogurt was frozen and tastes like yogurt . Couldn’t find it because the sign was not lit up so gonna have to give it a 5/10 stars. Best Ice cream I ever had! Update: I got Covid here and got off work 2 weeks 10/10 service

Me and my mom came for a visit. We never been there for years so we thought it was the same before, maybe even better we thought. But it was smaller and there was only 2 flavors. And we got 2 regular small with no toppings. And the price was 5.50, i don’t think it wasn’t worth it because i got a chocolate one and it didn’t even taste like chocolate. It was kinda fruity. I can tell that they just changed the flavor without cleaning it.Service there was also bad as well

Located in the middle of Kapolei Commons Shopping Center, past Ross and Office Depot but before Target. Today I stopped by Menchie's just to kill time. My siblings and I used to love hanging at Menchie's to get our froyo fix, but it hasn't been the same since the pandemic. They downsized their store, and there's no longer any seating inside. At least there are two long benches outside so you can sit down and enjoy your froyo before it melts. It's sad to see that so many of the frozen yogurt machines were empty... and no sampling is allowed. Today there were only 7 flavors available: the Original Tart, Vanilla Snow, Paradise Fruit Punch Sorbet, Dole Soft Serve Pineapple, Dove Dark Chocolate Candy, Strawberry, and Cake Batter.I ended up getting the Cake Batter and Paradise Fruit Punch Sorbet. The Cake Batter will probably always be my favorite, but as I poured some into my cup, I noticed that it had a slightly liquidy but smooth consistency. The Paradise Fruit Punch had a better, firmer consistency. Also, the flavor of it was tangy and fruity. Each of the toppings are packed into a little container that costs $1 each. Also, just fyi, you're not allowed to open it and taste it. I always get the cheesecake bites and it was soft, light, and fluffy--it never disappoints!I haven't had a bad experience here yet and the workers have been nice. I also noted how the worker today used hand sanitizer before handing me my cup--so kudos to their sanitary practices. Although Menchie's won't be the same as it was before, I'm glad that there's still one more left on the island. It's the closest, and it's nice to be able to redeem my birthday reward here each year.

What a disappointment! I was craving frozen yogurt, so we stopped in, and there was a sign saying only 4 flavors. My son saw that the Dole Pineapple flavor was available, so he pulled on the handle and nothing came out. So now down to only 3 flavors. He went to the strawberry flavor which was coming out partly melted and it had an artificial flavor taste which wasn't good so we had a few bites and threw away the rest. Waste money!

Um yikes! All I can say is that I think this place is TRYING to go out of business! Out of like 12 possible flavors they only had 4 that you could actually get. Everything was out! It was dead in there when we walked in and it didn’t take us long to figure out why.

save yourself the drive, and your money! they have very few options.& their toppings are $1.00 each, way too expensive.Got two yogurts for my kids paid 22.80. McDonald’s ice cream is better and cheaper.

Only had 6 flavors available (milk chocolate, mud slide, vanilla, strawberry, mango, and wild cherry) and the toppings are now pre packed in small containers at $1 ea. I used to love getting froyo back in high school so it was nostalgic for me, but it is so expensive now and not worth it. Will not be back.

Agree with the negative reviews and sadly because we love our hometown Menchies. How can the same franchise be so drastically different? We visited twice thinking we caught them on a bad day. Nope. Just terrible management. 4/12 then 7/12 flavors, no samples, toppings sealed and for good measure the exterior sign was turned off both nights. Menchies corporate please visit this store and shake things up - they are not representing you properly!!

Ice cream is always delicious. Whether it’s yogurt, ice cream, fro yo, whatever. Cold sweet snacks are always a blessing. Being able to put your favorite toppings on it is literally icing on the cake. This location has been around for many years. Used to be larger in size than it is currently. When it first opened this place was bustling with business. However it is almost sad to see where it is today. Over the last several months every time I go in which is usually about once a week there are only three or four flavors available.Even though it is March 2023 they still have not put any tables back inside for seating. You are forced to sit outside with your cold ice cream on a hot day and have it melt away if you are lucky enough to find a bench outside to sit on.The prices for what you get are extremely high just like everywhere else in Hawaii. But come on it’s ice cream! The staff is just OK. They are not really excited about their jobs and many times I feel like I am inconveniencing them while I am the only one in the store.I tried to go there again today and their hours state they open at 11 AM. However it was 11:30 and the doors were still locked. The open sign was not on and there was nobody in sight. There is a huge potential for this business when it is operated according to their standards but unfortunately it does not appear they are making much headway to improving and getting back to the mighty ice cream shop they once were.

I absolutely love Menchi's. There's one on the mainland. They basically weigh your yogurt and the toppings here were $1 each topping. They actually put the toppings in a container for safety reasons. That's a great idea. They were limited on the flavors they had. I think they had like four the afternoon we walked in. They had strawberry, chocolate, sour vanilla and something else. I forgot. I love frozen yogurt. A better alternative to ice cream. The inside was clean and you basically grab your cub and fill it up and then grab your toppings and then pay at the register. The girl was really nice. They had benches outside to enjoy your dessert. I would definitely come back here again. Plenty of parking across the street.
