“We came straight from the airport to visit Randy! By far the best and most affordable food, we ate the whole trip we were there. It was so delicious and they also have other vendors like veggies, fruits and sweets there on site. Amazing!!!”

“WOW! This is some of the best local food on the island. We took the tour to the top of the mountain then went over to O’z Kitchen. Ordered every item over two days and had an absolute blast. The quality and quantity is just right for the price, the staff are like family, and the atmosphere is amazing. It is outside and does sell out quick so make sure to get there before 1PM.”

“Very unassuming place, delicious food and nice staff, looks like it's family run. We got vegetable chowmein, salt and pepper wings, chicken mix and onion rings. The food was fresh and tasty. Very good prices compared to Kona and the island....bigly portions ?”

“Excellent!! Traveling around Kona and the west island, this is a bit of a smaller town find. If you’re not sure you’ll be in the area, I’d recommend making the detour to ensure a stop!This place was featured on Guy’s Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives TV show and we totally get why. Easily our favorite lunch on the west side of the island.We enjoyed one of the burgers, some shrimp & ono curry, as well as the lilikoi lemonade. IMO the soup of the day - some sausage chowder- was the ultimate star. Could eat that by the gallon. All of it was fabulous. Even the ketchup… special and tasty. Buy a bottle to take home!Servers were busy and still made sure to take good care of you, too. Rounded out the experience nicely.”

“RUN don't walk to this Poke shop! This was the best Poke we had on the island and I would maybe dare to say the best poke ever!Looks like a little mom and pop shop and they were so sweet and nice and let us tried two different poke flavors before we ordered. The poke was just epic and fresh and the price was awesome too! This is our only GO TO Poke shop now when we come on island. Im back on the mainland right now dreaming of my return in a month to come back! Lovely tasting sides also.”

“Visiting Teshimas from O'ahu in Mei, one of the highlights of my trip was the beautiful hospitality from Teshima's ohana member serving us. She was beautiful inside and out. Ono food too!”

“Locally owned and operated family restaurant. Fair prices, healthy portions, properly cooked food, good service, and clean environment. I would definitely recommend to anyone. I had the Loco Moco plate and my family had the breakfast plates plus a cheeseburger. Bacon was delicious. Eggs cooked perfectly over medium. Burgers cooked through and not burnt. I wanted to add a little salt and hot sauce to my plate but it was good without as well.”

“Nice little spot. Quick in and out spot for eating. There is only a handful of seats inside. The Mix BBQ was fantastic. The rice and Mac Salad was also quite tasty.”

“We went here on Sunday branch with some girl friends to have lunch. Good choices on Sunday branch menu and foods were pretty good. Service was swift and friendly. The only thing was that 2 people from our table ordered Eggs Benedict, but they looked pretty different in sizes and presentation from one another. Hmmm.... Plenty of parking around this bar and they have live band here sometimes. Good place to hang out, drink, eat, play pool etc.”

“We joined friends for dinner here last night. We all really enjoyed the eggplant appetizer. I had the fresh catch with the lemon caper sauce. The mahi was prepared just right. They know how to do fish! There were too many good choices for dessert. We ended up splitting the mango cobbler with lilikoi sauce. It was excellent. The service was great! Our server was very patient with us-accomodating us with a table change (it was chilly last night) and gave one of our party extra veggies and re-running the bill for him when there was a small upcharge for using a charge card. There was some nice music which wasn't too loud which we appreciated. We will definately be back-so nice that Kona is getting some good restaurants that don't charge an arm and a leg. The was that the lilikoi martini which was gorgeous to look at could have used a little more kick and be a little less sweet.”

“God bless this Mc Donald's. We arrived with 2 hungry small children. They just closed. Mom and dad is freaking out because children will go bananas. Dad knocks on the door waving for someone to help. A worker came and confirmed our worse nightmare, they just closed. She must have seen the fear in our eyes and with some ohana spirit took our order. A happy ending and huge mahalos from our children. There are still good people in this world.”
