“We're tourists and found this place last minute. We were surprised to learn that customers order at the counter. Okay, no problem, we waited in line and ordered our dinner. I feel badly because I feel I under-tipped, a meager ~10%, at this point assuming everything else would be self-service, getting place settings, pouring my own glasses from a bottle of wine. Also, keep in mind, that we had not had any service yet. And then, the service was top-notch, catering to our needs, pouring wine, etc. And the food (bruschetta, lasagnas, short ribs, seafood linguine) was very, very good. I regret not tipping more ~20% to your excellent staff and service. May good karma come your way with this 5-star review.“
“This is an adorable open air Italian restaurant that is so delicious. We ate here 2 nights in a row. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, Caeser salad, Bolognese, and lasagna. All were excellent. Service was great. Don't go by their website. It is not current and something they are working on. A lovely little spot for an Italian meal.“
“The food was delicious ! The service, superb! It was our first time in the back booth area. It was uncomfortably loud. Don't know what the answer is. Acoustics are changing. Anyway great food and service! Avoid the back of the restaurant if you can.“
“Had a lovely attentive server, pizza was delicious, nice atmosphere. Weird to get pizza in Maui I guess but I had been eating seafood for 5 days and was ready for a change. Also it’s right next to Maui brewing making for a great date night.“
“Awesome place to dine after a long hike at Haleakala. Food was so good we went back another time during our short vacation in Maui. Pictured here are the premium rib with au jus and their yummy dessert choices. We only tried the matcha cream cake and it was ?.“
“Looking for the best pizza of your life? Check out Maui Slice! After taking a hopper for explore Maui for the first time, my mom and I were looking to fill the void with some tasty food. Driving the Road to Hana complicates things as there aren't many places to stop for a real meal for sometimes hours at a time. After finally getting some signal again for the first time since Hana, we elected to give Maui Slice a try. The place itself is rather unassuming, but don't let that fool you. We were the only patrons during the time we were there and had a view of the valley to ourselves. The service was top-notch, and pricing was fair especially for Hawaii. There was one employee working serving a variety of 19" pies as well as individual slices. After a short period of time, we received our deluxe pizza. The quality was superb from the crispy-yet-still-doughy crust, to the flavorful sauce, the perfect amount of cheese, and the deliciously cooked premium toppings. It reminded me of one of my favorite shops growing up, and was a perfect way to wrap up an amazing day on the island. Give Maui Slice a try. You won't be disappointed.“
“Got takeout. Ordered via phone call. Prices on official website were about $1 out of date, so be prepared to pay extra on arrival. There's also a credit card fee, so paying cash will save you money unless you get like 5% back on your card.Great food though. Penne vodka is delicious. My wife liked her chicken parm as well.“
“Matteo's never fails to please. The service was fabulous. Delicious bread and olive oil dip to start. We had Butternut squash ravioli, squid ink pasta, Isola fish special and pasta Bolognese. Cannoli for dessert. Of course cocktails were involved. Great old fashion and expresso martini. The cannoli for dessert was yummy as well. Thank you Keanna for the great service.“
“Excellent server and the rest of the staff too. Drinks are cold, salad was served fresh and chilled. The Americano pizza was fresh and served hot. Although the size of the pizza seemed a bit smaller this time it was still very delicious especially the house made sausage topping.“
“Our review on Marcos grill & deli in kahului maui. It's in a very convenient location on the corner of dairy road and Hana highway right in town. The staff is really nice very attentive. The restaurant smells very delicious when you walk-in.The prices are moderate too expensive. $$$I ordered the Sandy shrimp special it had the linguine and shrimp and keepers and onions and carrots it was pretty nice looking but it needed flavor it needed salt and flavor it was bland I probably wouldn't order this again you know for the price you pay it was a disappointment. My wife ordered the pasta with marinara a very simple dish it was spicy and she doesn't like spicy. My guest ordered the Greek salad and the French onion soup. The onion soup was very salty. That means it was sitting around for a long time on the stove reducing and getting more concentrated so that needed to be freshened up?The Greek salad look delicious very pretty but it didn't have much flavor either. Now the staff was very attentive and the waitress describe the food very vividly and when the food came it didn't taste vivid like the waitress said it did.I heard of tiramisu for dessert and it was huge and there was so much mascarpone that it looked like a lemon meringue pie and on the bottom was the lady fingers marinated in coffee. there was enough room in this desert that you could have had a second layer of lady fingers which probably would have balanced it out.But there was too much mascarpone on top of the tiramisu, it looks like about 2 in of mascarpone on top of the lady fingers which is way too much should have been only an inch high. And the gentleman that made this tiramisu actually came out to the table to you know say oh I made it and so you know he's expecting a lot of compliments. So we just told him we thought he wanted to say. This place has a lot of attitude but the food is really bland and has a lot of room for improvement.I'm sure there are dishes in here that are pretty good but we haven't found it. And with the prices that they're charging you might want to try it but you might be disappointed too so just beware.Mahalo Wes n Wanda - Mililani Hawaii 1-2024Parking: There's a few stalls around the buildingWheelchair accessibility: The front door is small, two doors need to be opened in order for wheelchair to get in the restaurant.“
“First time at Manoli's after 30+ years vacationing and 7 years living on Maui. Have come in for a beer after a round...Courteous seating and waitress. Drinks were v-e-r-y s-l-o-w. When they were served (same drinks) one was filled 1 inch below the rim and the other 1.5 inch below...yet we were charged as if they were full pours. Given the charge per each drink...truly a bad vibe. Burgers were good...but waitress seemed to disappear and the second drink was even more ridiculous pours. Step up and get your bartenders to be consistent...this is a true “NO” for us.“
“We had the best dining experience from start to finish. Mahalos to Michael, Riley, Betty and Chef Johnny Bacay for the best dining experience we could've asked for! The entire staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The food and service was AMAZING! We will be back!!!“
“Stop here on Christmas eve, place was full and staff still handle it with grace. Super friendly, from waiter to kitchen, everyone had a smile and accommodating, food came out at a reasonable time. Had spicy tantan ramen, garlic shrimp and bread pupus, nice cold orion beer, and the pineapple creme brulee was to die for!The random menu threw me off at the beginning, pasta, ramen, pizza, what? I guess when you are a chef you are a chef :)Mahalos for being open, friendly and a delicious meal.“
